Think a friend's dad has some. Might see if he wants to offload them.

I never thought I would ever fall for a black orange, I always thought an Orange amp should be Orange. But after seeing these pictures I just could not pass on this rare find! For an amp from 1978 it is in amazing condition with covers! The sweetest thing is I got a really good deal on the stack. I just hope they all sound as good as they look.

Finally my new (old) 1978 OR80 black stack arrived! I retubed it with winged C EL34 tubes and it has the original Mazda pre-amp tubes which sound really good. They all came with original covers! This is one of the heads and cabs that billy (BClaire) and his friend Johnny A found in a warehouse unsold in the early 1990's. I was lucky enough to buy it from the guy who bought them off of Johnny A years ago. After the retube it sounds amazing! The 2x12 cabs are both loaded with Celestion Blackback G12H-30 speakers which are my new favorite speaker. The cabs have a nice woody tone to them. Any way here are some pictures of my Orange amps. From Left to right: 2003 AD140HTC head, 1974 OR120 head, 1978 OR80 head.

Rally Car -- your setup is awesome dude. But may I suggest that you swap out the floral wall paper for something a little more rock oriented.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
