Hello all!
I wonder if anyone has a tc electronic nova system and using is with a th30h or something similar? I already have a pedal board ( stompboxes) but I was wondering is the NOVA system that good? I would only use it for the effects such as chorus, flange, delay, phaser, the list could go on..... but one thing i wont use it for is the DRIVE!
Cheers

I have it.. and at current prices it is a bargain.
The drive is actually quite flexible..once you actually figure out how to balance its settings and use the EQ block... but that is moot as given the Nova system does not support 4 cable method then with the TH30 i suspect you would put it in the loop..
The fx are all really good quality.. though, like all fx units, it may take you some time to tune each effect in to your desired tone..

Re: TC ELECTRONIC NOVA SYSTEM
I had one and gigged it for a while (not with an Orange), rock solid and ultra reliable, easy to use.
However, I just couldn't get to grips with the parametric eq. And then the realization that I missed the nuances of actual pedals took me back to where I started. I always felt I was missing out not using pedals, after all so many have stood the test of time, not sure the multi fx units will ever be reissued like a classic pedal is.
I have since sold it.

I also had one years before in front of a JTM 45 clone and while it worked good (I also used the integrated drive sounds) I found out that I get better results with one or two booster/od and delay stompboxes in Front of the amp so I returned to a classical pedalboard.

I use the TC Electronic G-System. Run it into the front of my AD30TC's and it sounds fabulous.
