Re: Wow! Lots of new spammers this week!

Ok. Bayta is right, we are all crazy here, which means it's very easy to make fun of ourselves. I will do a weekly summary as long as the following factors are taken into account: 1. I'll most likely be intoxicated while doing it. 2. It'll probably be late (most likely because I'll be intoxicated th...

I will offer to write a "This Week In Orange" column should Billy desire my services. I will wrap up the weekly events and happenings here on the forum with style, grace and panache.

Re: What amp to pair a Rockerverb 50 with... rocker 30?

For stonedoutwrestler and everdrone: Teddy (Le Chat Noir) can definitely give you some advice with a two-piece setup. I was also in a duo and I ran a three-amp rig. Back then, my setup was an AD30R combo, a Music Man 112RD combo with a 115 cab and an Ampeg SVT with an 810 cab. Through an AB box the ...

Re: Wow! Lots of new spammers this week!

Well, some guy recently played on a barge while another guy broke up with a hot model. Someone else had their first creepy Craigslist experience as the usual wacky Ebay hijinks continue. The debate over which Orange amp model is better continues to rage on, while another member can't find their magi...

Re: Another Silverstone Customer/Victim Goes Down

Update: my money was refunded by Paypal yesterday after I filed a dispute and Silverstone never responded to it. I went through this whole process without any communication from Silverstone, whatsoever. So as many before me have said, AVOID.

At least I got a refund, so I'm thankful for that.

Re: What amp to pair a Rockerverb 50 with... rocker 30?

I've been running several different dual amp setups for many many years. At one point I was running a triple amp rig. I'm currently running my 6V6 Rockerverb head with an AD30 head. RV with a 412 and the AD with an open back 212. I get incredible sound and tone with this setup, clean or dirty. Havin...

Great! I like "Fever" a lot. I love trios too. I hear a little Supergrass in your sound. That's a good thing!

I ain't the worst that you've seen
Can't you see what I mean?

Might as well hump

Might as well mid-hump
Go ahead an' hump
Hump!
Go ahead and mid-hump!

Re: Characteristics of EL34's compared to 6L6's in Rockerverb?

I mistakenly thought that the Rockerverb was predominantly used for really heavy music....I was completely wrong, I would never use the gain past 2 oclock on the dial but it sounded great for what I wanted.....almost! For what its worth the clean channel is one of the best I have ever experienced t...

Re: dual terror vs rocker 30 vs rockerverb 50 MKI

it's not misleading. it would only be misleading if being modern voiced was a bad thing: which it's not! many people much prefer that. i think because the amp is modern voiced, it's the most versatile amp Orange has. like you said, just because it sounds modern doesn't mean it can't do vintage tone...
