Re: The Rocker has arrived...

Cool you like the amp! I have the same problems with the amp that some pedals sound too strong. I think it's just a matter of choosing which brand makes the best pedal/effect for the rocker. Enough posts to search on here. My solution is, use no pedals, the amp sounds so good on its own.

Re: Absolutely in love with the Rocker 30

Rocker30 fan right here! Last week I changed the V30 for a Creamback65 in the combo and right now it sounds promising, still beating the pile of poop out of it 'till it's broken in. Gain sounds a bit more raw with the creamback which I like! A plus is that the creamback weighs 1.1kg less than a V30....

Re: Quick OR-15 sound clip

I'm starting to like the Orange OR15. Here is a Video Sound Demo I put together showing off the cleans to the crazy distortion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSxxWoQIqRw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I like that demo, the OR15 has lots of gain, you don't go past noon on the gain ...

Re: Quick OR-15 sound clip

awesome riff and cool tone you got there.
Riffs that sound familiar are the pile of poop, just make a song with it and make it your own, eventually it will sound like your riff, and if you don't... you don't mind I use that riff?

Ever played a Rocker30?

Re: Can a 2x12 cab be used with a Thunderverb 200?

You can put some Electrovoice EVM12L Zakk Wylde speakers in your cab, rated at 300W/piece, you can crank the Thunderverb and have that powertubesaturation without the speaker break-up! Should sound awesome. They are expensive though!! I've heard stories of people who cranked they're old (then new) M...

Re: (Late) NAD! Rocker 30!

I'm still searching for an amp that sounds better than my Rocker30. In the studio, live or just for practicing at bedroom levels: rock heaven! Humbuckers, P90's, single coils, TV Jones.... all sound great, P90's are my favorite: nice spongy chime, cuts through the mix very well (our bassplayer play...

Re: Best orange head for metal?

Do you mean old school metal (80's vibe) or modern technical metal?
My Rocker30 suits old school metal very well.
Current production models: Rockerverb will do the trick.

Nice guitar, mine is a '98 SG Standard.
Since I installed a Gibson P94 in the bridge position it's even better sounding!

This is a cool guitar. In that video the guitar sounds so fat with the bassboost engaged. Do you know what's in that circuit, maybe I need to do this in a Tele I never use....

Re: Marshall JMP1, JCM1, DSL1

Have you played one in person? I'm telling you man, they sound lame. It's just not worth that kinda coin. Put your money elsewhere. A Rocker 30 with the volume down low sounds better. Do what ya want though. Once you played the Rocker30, no other amp will sound better, especially when playing rock,...
