I use to own a Katana and I really liked it. As I remember it, the boost was very transparent and incredibly loud at max setting. That was a good thing. Pull out the volume knob and you have some extra dirt. Kelley makes some great stuff. His compressor is also top notch.

Does the Nitro paint wear down quickly? I'm not really into the relic look.

He's proof that you can play a cheap guitar and still sound better than 99% of the guitarists out there who spend thousands on gear. He made me want a cheapo Vintage Lemon Drop.
