Re: Just repaired a speaker...
That sounds like a job for a pro. I guess you could make some sort of repositionable vices and do it yourself, but I'd call Weber ( http://www.tedweber.com ) and ask them about having it worked on. For the time it would take to do it right, they could probably save you money, time, and possible dama...

Just repaired a speaker...
So my new Vox amp has been buzzing at super high volumes, and it was bugging me (because it's super new!), so I took it apart tonight to hot glue some of the rattling bits down (the plastic vents used on the amp are a bit chintzy). While I had everything apart, including removing the speaker to as t...

I'm with Bob, even if they sell to small market of people in their country, they'll still be making bank. Get India to the point where the average person is buying a CD a month? Yeah, that's going to be bank.

Re: TT and Celestion Blue?
The TT uses the same output tubes as the AC15, and they're both going to push out max 18 watts on a super good day, but it's probably much more likely in the 12-15 watt range. You should be fine, the blues are conservatively rated.

Listen to the Duke or Orange! :) Greg's been one of the longest RV50 advocates I've known. I still want to get one myself because of Greg. Orange, give this man a t-shirt or something! :) The MK1 has PLENTY of bottom end - and with good tubes, it's also plenty tight. Also - stays clean with single c...

Re: NAD: Vox TB18C1
Yeah, it's a different beast, that was kind of the goal with it. I've got a buzz in the cab I've got to work out, but it's a very cool amp. I might play around with a speaker change in the future, just for kicks, but this amp is a great little beast.

Re: All Time Best Bang for the Buck pedals?
I really dig my Cool Cat Vibe pedal, sounds really good for what it costs and does. That said, I'd love to look into more vibe pedals, especially if I could run something in stereo for a leslie sim. :) (and yes, I did the mod to have the light flash along with, but I find the volume boost isn't that...

Wow...someday, after I've saved the world from poverty or hunger or something big, I'll own a place like that. A giant venue up front, and ton of secure, sound proof practice spaces in the back for me and all the bands I dig listening to.

Re: GC dropping Mesa
I've seen forum stuffs and rumors spread really quickly and be based on 0% truth. We'll have to see perhaps. Guitar Center around Utah is pretty out of my way, so I don't make it over there a ton. GC in general is a useful place to go and try out gear, but I miss some of the guys in the Seattle area...

I dig this amp. I've been trying to find a new amp to play around with, and this is an interesting one. I got it "referbed" on ebay, and I think it was the way to go. The construction is in China, and there's som elements that feel cheap about it, but the design feels like it's built to take the che...

Nice! I dig that tone, and cool use of frequency registers to give you the feeling of alternating between two sections/instruments.Invin wrote:Well here's my first jam with it, hope you enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKFMH2cM ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
