Re: Clipping Sound on my Micro Dark, is it defective?
well i tried it myself a few ways and it seems i get the same experience as you do. and i'd say the TAD tube should be fine. my gold lion is louder than the jj and i've run it for well over a year with no problem. when i ordered it i ordered a high gain tested gold lion. even tubes in the same type ...

Re: Clipping Sound on my Micro Dark, is it defective?
i can't check at the moment. but if no one answers before tomorrow, when i can, i will run mine with the same gain settings and see. i don't recall specifically if i ever tried dialing in a clean tone on my micro dark. i am running a genalex gold lion for the tube but also have the stock jj to try o...

Re: CR60C or CR120C? Home\rehearsal
i wish i could tell you for sure. i'd assume that if 75 watts is loud enough currently for what you do 60 should be more than fine. but just consider that the loudness or decibel scale used to measure loudness vs power is logarithmic and not linear. 40 watts is not twice as loud as 20 watts. and the...

Re: ROXANNE!
also a cap or something outside the chassis just laying there. that and the cap inside just laying there makes me suspicious. but who knows. it appears to be a nice amp. very tidy. and like i said the gut shot is amazing. i'd like to have it too.

Re: ROXANNE!
looks like there is a cap with no wires going anywhere in the chassis. what's up with that?
extremely good gut shot view as well.

Re: Celestion + Orange Official IR's

Re: Different Technique With Orange Amps?
it sounds like to me that some of the things being described in these posts have nothing to do with the amp itself and everything to do with a guitar that is not intonated correctly. also seems like some of the descriptions are talking about overtones and harmonics being produced by the strings eith...

NBD Ibanez Mikro Short Scale Bass
So I've been wanting a bass to record with and to just mess around with. I have a project bass in pieces but you know how projects are. i wanted something inexpensive but solid and workable. and since my project bass was a cheap ibanez gio that played really well and sounded good, before i tore it a...
