Re: rocker 30 low level feedback

Has it always done this or has it only recently started acting this way? I experience feedback on the clean channel of my AD140 in some situations, but I have never noticed if it was drastically different from feedback of other situations. It sounds like your tubes are good candidates for changing w...

Re: Rocker 30 treble pot does not work

I don't have any experience with the Rocker 30, myself, but if you can set the bass and mids to zero and the treble pot seems to be making changes, then I would say it is probably fine. Eq's can have a lot of variance to the change when certain frequencies are boosted to the max. I expect you could ...

Re: HELP Rockerverb 50

Without inspecting the amp oneself, I don't think that it will be easily able to pin your problem. I think you should have a tech look it over soon. I would guess that it isn't something that will correct itself but likely get worse. I hope that it's nothing too serious.

Re: Blowing Fuses

If it's not the rectifier, my second guess would be a power tube. Ultimately, I think it will be a tube issue. Most of the other components in your amp are not very volatile. I'm sure an experienced tech would be able to find the problem with little trouble.

I was borrowing one before I bought my AD140 and it sounded bad at all volumes. So fortunate to have my Orange.

Re: Woah, these pedals SUCK! (With my Orange...)

I had a Death by Audio Fuzz War that sounded great when put in front of a clean fender style amp, but when engaged with my orange, whether clean or with gain, it sucked all the midrange right out of the amp and the sound just disappeared in a band setting. I also tried a Death by Audio Soundwave Bre...

Those slaves are expensive and hard to come by... Man, I'd love to have one sitting under my ad140.

Re: Orange Rockerverb 100 questions.

As for effects... effects such as delay, reverb, and modulations go through the effects loops. drives and wahs and such go up front. This is the most common sense way to do things since you don't really want to overdrive your delay, reverb, etc. With my AD140 I run all effects (delay, etc) up front...

Re: New forum member with new Orange 412...

whenever i stack my cabs, I seem to get this weird optical illusion that makes the one on top seem bigger, no matter which of the two is on top, but as far as actual physical size, mine are the same. What year is your old cab from? Is it one of the USA made cabs? no telling. looks great, either way.

Re: Dual Terror woes...

If you have home owners/renters insurance that covers earthquakes you might be able to get some $$$, but I have no idea if that is somehing standard in Cali as I live on the east coast and only have to worry about theft and fires, forthright most part. Good luck.

You can take a spray bottle of water to that cab with caved weave and it will perk it right up when it dries. Mine get a bit saggy and it helps. Congrats man. I love my stack.

Re: Xotic and Orange - BB, AC or RC?

I owned the BB and the BB+ and had the same experience. The plus was missing something the BB has. I sold my BB to get the BB+, but it was a mistake, for sure. The BB sounds great.

Re: new rockerverb owner not happy with tubes

You know, if you just want to warm it up a bit but you like the overall tone of the amp, why not try some JJ 12ax7's in the preamp. That will darken the sound considerably, but not change the tone as drastically as changing the power tubes. If it doesn't get you where you wantt to be, then you can o...
