Re: Where to get a TT combo cover these days?
I have used TUKI for the past few cases. They are friggen expensive for the bigger cabs, but not too bad (including customs/shipping) for the smaller stuff. They can do custom work and make their logos in house I believe. I'm betting for a slight up charge you could get them to make an Orange logo f...

Re: Hey Bass Players!
I was going to post about this but figured the forum was shut down already. Chuck one of the new heads in a combo with the newish OBC neo 12 for under $1000 and you have my interest! The butler is cool but I would miss a mid control on the clean side. Or is it like those EQ's that allow you to boost...

Re: Looking to upgrade our earplugs. Any recommendations?
I've gone back to my Comply Foam Plugs. They block a bit more top end than the ER20's, but I've been using them for the past few months and haven't had any pain/ringing.
Edit: Looks like the are now called the Comply Sonic Filters.

The acoustic pre?
Blues JR should do the trick as it has a gain knob allowing you to adjust the breakup.

None! don't give in to Orange hoarding
Perhaps try out a different cab/speakers? All of your amps will sound new and fresh!!!

Re: Best Orange for good tone at low volumes?
I don't think so. I believe you need something to run the software. It's basically a low latency interface in pedal format.

Re: PPC212V HAS ARRIVED!!!
Perhaps with a low mid focused amp such as the RV100, it would be best to pair it with a not so low-end heavy dark sounding cabinet :) I thought for the longest time that Orange cabs could do no wrong. Most of my favourite bands play through Orange cabs, but they don't usually play through Orange he...

Re: PPC212V HAS ARRIVED!!!
I've got a stack of guitars but mostly play junior styles yea. I really like the v30s in my r30c and port city 212. I think I may just prefer them in an open back or ported cab. Would be interesting to hear a set of v30s in this v cab. It's quite shocking how much more bass the V cab has. Even with ...

Re: PPC212V HAS ARRIVED!!!
I may have been exaggerating a bit. But I've had an Orange 112, a Traynor 112, and a homemade 112 which had multiple speaker swaps. All in the 35lbs area which is close enough to the weight of the V but nowhere near the tone.

Re: Best cab to complete my rockerverb MKIII stack?
I ran through a 612 for years. No big issues with volume. The 412 is hitting your legs so it's more of a fullness it ads more than a perceived volume boost. Adding the 212 will make it seem louder as now it's closer to your ears. I believe adding another speaker adds about 3db, but since it would be...

If you love Orange PPC212OB I would say. Would help to spread the sound in the room more.

Re: new guy with rockerverb question.
Hey, I'm assuming it's used? I would check the bias first. Might have been set cooler by a previous owner with could be causing the duller tone. If it's within range, perhaps a full retube is in order. Also check the speaker wiring. I've run into a few orange cabs that sound awful. One of which was ...
