I played a Suhr Tele when demoing new pedals at a local shop, using my TT through a Dr. Z cab (I think? Maybe a Bad Cat). It was so nice. I hate the headstocks, but dang what a nice guitar.

U2 rocked, especially since that was the first time they've performed the new single (or any material from the upcoming album). Coldplay were - unsurprisingly - boring, bland and derivative. Still waiting through all this other BS for Radiohead. And how about Miley Cyrus totally butchering that Tayl...

Garageband rules. It's simple and quite deep, once you really down to it.

I'd like Logic Pro one of these days, though. But for now, Garageband suits me finely. Now that I've got my Rocker 30 atop my Avatar 112, I'm going top put my SM-57 and Nady to work.

Very cool song, BTW.

I have a few "rare-ish" records. Which aren't all THAT rare, but could be someday. They're mostly limited pressings of cool colors for hardcore and metal bands, particularly ISIS. My "Holy Grail" vinyl LPs are U2's Zooropa and Pearl Jam's No Code. Both of which are findable online, but are a little ...

I had an AC15CC for about a month, and it wasn't for me, as desperately as I wanted it to be.

Since the Edge is one of my heroes, I will one day own an AC30... but for now, my new Rocker 30 is like a wet dream come true.

I've been wanting to try one out. I'm searching for a nice distortion that lands somewhere in between a Big Muff and a booster/ OD. Something that can really get nice and meatily chunky, but also not get insanely muddy and... "flabby" I guess.

I was just thinking about this tonight (at a Dillinger Escape Plan show, no less). "Shredders" like EVH are astounding in their ability to maneuver the fretboard... and as a friend once stated - in reference to Yngwie - "arpeggiate their rogers off." But like you said, there is little room for emoti...

Sorta like linoleum, my initial reaction was, "Are you sure your cables are good?"

I'm not saying you don't know this, but make sure you are using speaker cables in between your heads and your cabs, and not guitar cables/ leads.

That's cool. Do you guys take the "criticisms" from such publications' reviews to heart to try and please the print, on top of the fans/users? Or are you guys just happy to get press? I really like picking up an issue of Guitar World and seeing that it has coverage of stuff other than the mostly-mod...

In my current band, I get lucky and am able to find a really nice balance between the two ways of playing. On one hand, I play a lot of chords (barre, open, power, inversions, etc.), but I also have 3 or so solos (on the record we just made that is in mixing and then off to mastering mode) that nece...
