Yeah, I have used my OKKO Twin Sonic (which is absolutely awsome) and it clearly works best with the boost part of that pedal.
Even so the 2061X need to be cooking quite a bit in order to make the sonic mesh work.

Allright, I just spent another hour out in the "studio" and double checked every angle and......I found the culprit. But, because I would like to try to save any remaining integrity I will not reveal it. We'll just leave it at: "Lars, you're an idiot" So now the amp does sound fantastic in every way...

So I have had a little time with my new toy and while I am not ready to submit a final verdict, I do have some comments and thoughts. The reason I went for this particular amp: -Vintage rock/blues sound. Some people like smooth overdrive - I like my overdrive RAW if that makes sense (i.e. I am not i...

I have the 2061X with the matched cabinet wich has Celestion Vintage G12H (70th anniversary??). I do think that it would still come out really well with the Vintage 30's in the Orange - there are, however, probably others here who are more competent to discuss the differences between the G12H and th...

Thanks guys

Now I need to spend some time with my new baby and I will definitely report back on progress.

Ironically, it seems my christening as an "Orange expert" will occur in conjunction with a departure from the brand (who knows, I may be back soon).

The AD30R is gone....and after a 5 day stint with a Deluxe Reverb RI, I am now finally the proud owner of a Marshall 2061X (and cab). In the store I was actually also considering a JTM45 (with cab) which did sound great, but when I blew I tube (I think) in the practice room I think faith helped me d...

There is an 'official' european dealer of Avatar's in the Netherlands. A while back I contacted them about getting a 2x12 but the prices are absolutely pathetic compared to what the folks are paying in the states. He quoted me a price which was about 95% of what I would pay if I went and bought an O...

Hi Joe There is nothing in what you say that I would argue with. The AD covers about everything I need...but, GAS can take different shapes and forms. For starters, I am not a serious musician who depend on a certain sound. I play i a little band (with a drummer that currently have no drums) which i...

I had a Roadstar back in the 80's - the nice cherry sunburst one with humbucker.
I'd say that they generally are good guitars for the money, but...............very little, or no, mojo (irregard of vaisatch etc.), except for maybe some of the jazz axes.
