Re: Forum not good ....General Error after general error

Me too. And since the update, I no longer stay logged in when closing the tab. I prefer opening the page and being ready to go.

I love his reviews. He works hand in hand with joyo and still calls out their crap. I wish he would review everything!

Re: orange speaker / laptop hybrid setup

In solid state amps, the minimum ohm rating is pretty set in stone. Going under would most likely kill the amp pretty quick. I used to have a spider amp that I let people use that didn't bring their amp, modded with external jacks. Last guy to use it plugged it into a 16 and 8 ohm cab, which is abou...

Re: Garbage day

Some people have all the luck! Round here people just try and sell things for way more than they are worth. I've find that to be more and more the case lately. I'd rather buy new at the prices people want to sell their gear for. Put an offer in and they accuse you of low balling. I usually won't pa...

Re: New Orange on its way - First time Orange owner

lol...noob. Mine cuts through the mix better than our other guitar players TH100. Why? Because of the mids. I'm not at all impressed with the TH series in the mix. Sounds like the sooner your rhythm player is gone, the better. lol I can't wait for it. It's a pain watching him play through it. The o...

Re: DEFINITIVE ORANGE GUIDE TO: Overdrive/Boost/Dist/Fuzz Pedals

WHICH ORANGE AMP DO YOU USE? CR120H through a British style cab. WHICH OVERDRIVE PEDALS WORK BEST FOR YOU? Boss SD1 and a DIY Dead Astronaut XFUZZ. REASONS FOR YOUR CHOICE: SD1 balances the upper mids with the more prominent lower mids. And tightens the lows. Gives the amp a tone reminiscent of a B...

Re: Gain Boost on Dirty Channel? - RV50

Can always try an SD-1/TS9. Add a bit of grit on the pedal, compensate a little on the dirt channel. Makes a 2 channel work like a 4. Clean, crunch, rhythm, lead. Funnily, I've just recently tried my Digitech Hardwire CM-2 tube overdrive (tube screamer variant with flat EQ and individual bass and t...

Re: New Orange on its way - First time Orange owner

I love mine. And its true some people hate it just because of it's internals. Band I'm drumming for, I let the rhythm player use it. He has never owned a tube amp, or anything other than a spyder 15, and yet still complains because it "doesn't have that tube warmth". also says it doesn't have...

Re: "SeTTiNgS"

I have bass at 3, mids at 8, and treble at 5. Or 8 o'clock, 3 o'clock, noon respectively. I have both channel volumes maxed, so my clean is crunchy, gain a hair above 7 or 2 o'clock, and master at 3.5 or 10:30 for band things. I then slam the front end with a Boss SD-1. This is running through a Bug...

It is. I was just hoping to find a MIM. The Chinese fenders weren't great.
