Re: NGD, another CV tele!

i beleive the cv teles come with tone rider pickups as stock and sound pretty good to me. a google search would confirm the model im sure. with mine, i noticed the cavities had sheilding paint in them, but werent wired to the ground, i did this and it's quietened it a little. but an all around grea...

Re: NGD, another CV tele!

Failing miserably to post a pic! I don't think I'm particularly dense technically but I can't get the pic from photobucket up here. Clicking the Img button and pasting the link but no joy. Can someone explain in very simple terms how it works?

NGD, another CV tele!

New addition to the family, a bit of time setting up and new strings and she's a cracker. Plays great, sounds awesome (I'll add a four way switch at some point) Cheers Andy and others on here for putting me on to the CV, got to say nothing about it feels like a budget guitar, probably better out of ...

Re: New Amp or New Guitar? BOTH!

When looking at Teles I played several Bayas - all well fine. But I chose a CV series Squier over that model and just fitted a 4-way switch. They do a nice natural finish one, and don't be put off by it being Pine, they look great and work really well. Good p/ups, well built, play great, no messing...

Awesome tones! What a sound he gets from that LPJ, superb player. A guitar with a single P90 is definitely on the wish list.

Re: clicking noise after valve change

I'll get back to him and make sure he's not left his metronome on! He did seem sure it was something in the amp but he can be a numpty at times. Great musician though. . . .

clicking noise after valve change

Hi guys, gave a set of valves I'd briefly run in my dual terror (couple of hours max, no issues) to a friend for his Vox AC30, he's put them in but is apparently now getting a rhythmic clicking noise from the amp. I've not heard it myself, only going by a message he sent, any Ideas what the issue co...

Re: For all of you who are, have or had...

As my kids are pretty little my wife asked what I'd like as a father's day present so I said 'take them out for a while so I can crank the dual terror and rock out!'
She didn't. But there were some nice chocolates.

Re: RUSH?!?

Yea I love Rush. Only seen them live once but what a show. Great playing, pyro, humour (they don't take themselves seriously which I like) and that rarest of things a heartburn solo. I like most of their back catalogue too, even the 80's stuff that a lot of folk are down on. 'Signals' and 'grace und...

Re: Does your FS-1 light up?

Yes. And so should yours. Dead bulb or loose wire to the light? Easy fix I'd think but brand new so best just send it back.
