Re: Talk about guitar porn!
I'd do it. Gold hardware on white is a bit much but in a darker finish with visible wood grain, that guitar would make me weep with longing! I bet they sound great too.

Re: Icy Black (Rockerverb 100 MKII)
Not too found of overly categorising music into a narrow niche. Regardless of what type you want to call it, that' a good trippy track. I like it! I feel the same, about categorising music like that. That's not really what i meant and this track can't really be categorised as is, i usually mix far ...

Icy Black (Rockerverb 100 MKII)
People have got annoyed here before because i have posted videos that may not be an example of general warm Orange tone, yet are all good examples of the versatility of the Rockerverbs. Hopefully people will be nicer this time. :D This was just some messing around with a looper in the early hours of...

Re: Two bands, different tunings, one guitar?
Unless you want floppy, buzzing strings then it's hard. I use .9s and downtune to a c#, for which i have to compensate with higher action and slightly more neck relief. If i try and then tune up to standard the strings are too tense and very uncomfortable to play. I have had my old less paul copy se...

Re: Synth & Guitar -> AD200B and Rockerverb 100 MKII Doom-
That's what i mean, i loved the way we built the ending but that was less together and organised than some of the looser sounding bits, which i feel were much better. It's all just linking with different feelings, some stuff clicks with certain people, some stuff drifts by. But thanks, and i'm glad ...

Re: Synth & Guitar -> AD200B and Rockerverb 100 MKII Doom-
I'm sorry, but that's just because we see different meaning in the phrase "not getting it". It's what i say when i, well, don't get something. Like the IT crowd might be funny, and i understand the jokes as in i know what they mean, the words etc and the point of the joke, but i just don't "get" the...

Re: Synth & Guitar -> AD200B and Rockerverb 100 MKII Doom-
Who did i condescend and what did i say? I really don't get how people can get offended or think anything i said was rude. that was all said in good heart, in a bright and happy mood and without looking down on anybody. and now i just get crushed down and accused of having a condescending attitude. ...

Synth & Guitar -> AD200B and Rockerverb 100 MKII Doom-Jazz
The first session from The Deadjohnsons' Big Incredible Day to utilise synths and a looper. The left channel is a Little Phatty through an AD 200B MK3/OBC410 captured with an SM57, some lovely warm tones as well as some heavy and harsh. Right channel is a Moog Vo through a Rockerverb 100 MKII/Framus...

Re: Some Rockerverb tones. Clean and Bass.
Hmm... well. The first track has some delay from my memory boy at the beginning and the rest is totally naked, i'm using a Moog Vo which has a built in ladder filter (the wah sound) but it's true to the tones i get when not using the filter or when using another wah (the Vo filter goes a bit lower)....

Re: Some Rockerverb tones. Clean and Bass.
I didn't really expect much interest, but at least i got a cycloptic key hole face, thanks!
Maybe i'll try something more original like a rolling stones cover to get some attention next time!
(that is not trolling....
it is a friendly joke, with a smile....

Some Rockerverb tones. Clean and Bass.
Clean channel, funky jazz tones and dub bass. Orange Rockerverb 100 MKII through Framus CS 2x12 cabinet. Very abstract guitar work from my Doom-Jazz project The Deadjohnsons' Big Incredible Day. http://youtu.be/iAbvOtntrr8 Dub bass tones, Moog Vo using the ladder filter set low and the clean channel...

Re: Steeve Hurdle RIP.
+1 Seems to be some trollish comments in your post there. I do like the second piece you posted. The dissonance being used sounds similar to some of the tonalities achieved by Glenn Branca and even Sonic Youth and the building of the sounds on top of each other is not something you hear typically i...

Re: Steeve Hurdle RIP.
This one might be a bit catchier than the previous links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGhExssWyE0 That's a rockin' tune! and what i said was not intended as "trolling", this is a forum full of AC/DC fans, that's not an insult and i don't expect AC/DC fans to like this kind of music, that's all i...

Steeve Hurdle RIP.
http://prcmusic.com/images/pub2012-2.jpg A bit late, and it's quite doubtful that a forum full of AC/DC fans will appreciate this man's genius but he was easily the finest metal guitarist to ever live and i'm sure some people here will hear how talented he was. His philosophy was always to push the...
