Re: AD200 and synths
Thanks to both of you. I'm running the head through an OBC410 and an OBC115. I realised straight away that i had to have the master up full for any decent clean volume. And i realise that the gainier tones will cut through well but i will be using the amp for a lot of different projects and sometime...

AD200 and synths
Hello, Got an AD200B the other day for my Warwick and they are getting on beautifully. I agree with most that the amp could use a bit more clean head room, in fact a LOT more. I don't think i would ever have enough clean volume to gig with but i'll change the preamp tubes at the least and see how th...

Re: Thunderverb 200 with two HP8 cabs?
If you plan to play bass through one of the amps, you may want a bass cabinet with that head. Maybe the HP cab works for bass. I don't really know, but first inclination it doesn't. Do you have a huge van or something? ;) Also, I hope you don't tour because you are going to have about 10k worth of ...

Re: Thunderverb 200 with two HP8 cabs?
It'll be fine, but you won't get any speaker breakup at all. If I were you, I'd get another regular straight PPC412 and then put some different speakers in the angled one you have. Stock V30s in the bottom straight cab and something else, maybe g12h30 on the top 4 in the angled cab. You wouldn't be...

Thunderverb 200 with two HP8 cabs?
Hello all, Looks like with my next big chunk of money i'm going to go all out and fatten my amp collection with an AD200B and also a Thunderverb 200, as i will never have a big load of money again i thought i may aswell blow it all on amps and guitars. I have been reading about the 4x12 hp8 cabs and...

Re: Thunderverb 200
yeah, thanks. I'm definately getting an ad200 set up, best thing i ever heard! I can get enough variation through my pedals and it is the perfect voicing for my bass. Just got to gather the funds now... I'm still tempted to save for a thunderverb too. My rockerverb is beautiful and you can 0get a hu...

Re: Going without pedals, thoughts?
If you know whet kind of stuff you'll be playing then there is surely no need for extra voicings? I play mainly play weird improvised jazz and as it is very explorative i generally have a pretty hefty load of pedals in the front, a lot of them don't get stomped at all but i know that if i suddenly w...

Thunderverb 200
Hi, I am also considering getting a Thunderverb 200 on top of my Rockerverb 100 MKII. I am primarily a bassist really and have a stunning 6-string fretless Ovangkol warwick thumb and i just know it would sound like god through an Orange. Really for pure bass i would want the AD200B as i like the ide...

English PPC112 cabs?
Hello all. I have recently forked out and bought a Rockerverb 100 MKII with the slanted 4x12 cabinet and i am in heaven. The reverb is really special, like playing in a giant crystal cave, i know lots of people complain about it but i think you're all insane, and the dirty channel is the best amp di...
