Re: dual terror vs rocker 30 vs rockerverb 50 MKI
Hi, I am not a massive Orange nerd like some people on here (no offence) however I own a Rockerverb 50 MK2 and love it. I changed from a vox AC15 H1TV hand wired which was superb, but had to be cranked stupid loud to get to the good bit. I think one thing people forget is how much gain is on tap on ...

Re: rockerverb 50 mkII vs. mkI
I have never played a MK1.
But changing the, imo, crappy tubes in the pre amp made a massive difference to my amp (did them after about two weeks of owning it). Much quieter and sounds great to my ears.

Re: DEFINITIVE ORANGE GUIDE TO: Overdrive/Boost/Dist/Fuzz Pedals
WHICH ORANGE AMP DO YOU USE? Rockerverb 50 1x12 combo WHICH OVERDRIVE PEDALS WORK BEST FOR YOU? None, I have sold them all, and all the distortion pedals. Had a fair few different variants, makes and types from £50 - £200 and I liked none of them through the orange (Vox is a different story mind) ...

Re: Worst tone and guitar masturbation EVER...
Not a big fan of the shredding in general but this guy is awsome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_udkP8rUiuw I dont know anything about him other than the vids of him revewing guitars for frettedamerica. The reviews are well worth watching for the entertainment even if you are not interested in the ...

http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/2839/rockerverb50mk2valvelay.jpg Right, there is a lash up diagram in paint. I would have done it better but my brother who does Photoshopping for me is not about. I had quite a lengthy chat with someone from technical support today, basically if you have to combo...

Re: Rockerverb 50 MK2 Valves
Thanks again, Looks like I am going to phone orange tomorrow then. Also I made a mistake in the last post, there are two reverb valves. At least I found removing either seems to stop the reverb completely. I found the exact suggestions you made by changing the AT7 to an AX7, earlier breakup and the ...

Re: Rockerverb 50 MK2 Valves
Thanks for the answer, I did as you said last night and have got all but two right. There are two valves that completely kill the sound but I can not work which. I guess are for the Phase inverter and the Effects loop. Can anybody tell me which is which? The rest seem to be One reverb, two dirty (re...

Rockerverb 50 MK2 Valves
Hi, I am looking to replace the preamp valves on my RV 50 with some a matched set, however I can not find out on the forum or the manual which valve slot related to which preamp. The clean channel seems fine but want to have a change of the dirty channel valves to see what other sounds I can get. I ...

Re: No glow in V1, V2, V3 & V6 in Rockerverb 50
Hi, Thanks for the replys. Rather annoyingly you are right. (just played for the last hour or so trying things out from the thread suggested) The shame of it is that my handwired AC15 reacts really well with all of my pedals, it also loves it if you stack gain and boost pedals up in front of it. The...

Re: No glow in V1, V2, V3 & V6 in Rockerverb 50
Hi, I recently purchased a Rockerverb 50 MK2, however I have a problem that is does not take overdrive/distortion/boost pedals well in through either channel. (goes flabbly) The outputs valves were replaced by the shop I purchased the amp from however after spending more time with the amp I am not s...
