That's my favorite tele finish! I have a 50's Classic Player Tele in that finish, and I love it to death.
That said, I have my eye on a black Cabronita on my local CL, just trying to flip another guitar to make it happen...

Re: Can you double track guitars when recording live?
If it's the live sound you want, then why add anything later?
If you do want to, then I think using a second mic is your best bet. Try to get a different 'flavor' altogether, like a condenser mic!

Re: Please Vote for My Orange Logo Design on Facebook!
At first I was like 'dammit who is this guy coming on to the forums just to get likes for his logo?' then I saw the image, and remember loving it every time I've seen it posted here, and voted immediately.
Great job, I hope you win!

Re: Reverberation unit.
Trolling meaning that my question is too obvious to justify a response or that I'm trying to stir the pot or sell these funny reverb boxes??? No really, spring tank... etc... all foreign to me. I've never used effects and didn't know what that weird box was. I do have a reverb knob. And, it is New ...

Re: Reverberation unit.
I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not trolling... Simply put, it's a reverb unit. Does your amp have a 'reverb' knob? That's the spring tank that produces the reverb echoes when you turn up that knob. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverberation#Spring_reverberators" onclick="win...

Re: All Time Best Bang for the Buck pedals?
Dano Cool Cat anything! I loooove my tremolo.
The USA Big Muff Pi used to be a great value, I think I paid $50 for a new one when I was 16. Now it's about $85, which is a bad value.

Re: How do you have your amp setup?
Blues tone? Might as well start with everything in the middle, and then roll the mids back a little bit, see how that suits you.

Re: Sans Pedals!
I also play without pedals most of the time. I have a fully populated board (tuner, volume pedal, OD, compressor, fuzz, delay) and it lives under my desk next to my amp. After a while, I got sick of always bending over to tweak stuff that just muddied up my sound anyway, and it's easier to just plug...

Follow up: Got a coupon in the email today, and went in to pick up my pedal! This thing is SO. DAMN. SMALL. Really, it's hard to get that across in a picture, but it's freaking tiny. I can't wait to get home and play with it! ...then I'm gonna try out my new pedal ;) https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/h...

Re: Do you prefer you delay Analog or Digital? And why?
I've used both, and for what it's worth I prefer analog. I use the Carbon Copy, and it just always sounds good. I can't make it sound bad (excluding oscillations). My amp and guitars are super bright, so the darkness is not overwhelming in the slightest. Also, I prefer analog reverb as well (since t...

Re: NPD: TC Electronic Ditto Looper
Had mine in my hand today at the store, but my trade-ins weren't worth enough to make it happen today. Alas, my ditto is on layaway, and I'm gonna try to ditch my dyna-comp and little alligator on craigslist or ebay or something (wink wink). Or find a hundred bucks under the couch! The worst part wa...

How's it holding up for you? I'm trying to have one held for me at GC next week, but I need to hear a bit more first-hand user experience before I bite the bullet. Thoughts?

Re: New Tiny Terror, can't decide if it's for me
Too bright? Have you tried using your guitar's tone knob in addition to/instead of the amp's knob? When I had a Dual Terror, I could coax just about any sound out of it with two tone knobs and strumming in different locations above my pickups. It's really sensitive, but really versatile.

Re: Micro T vs Tiny T help?
The Tiny Terror will be much louder than the Micro Terror, and it will sound wayyyyy better. Also, you can't really mention prices here on the forum, so you should probably edit that number out. Speaking of that number you wrote, you can find new or refurbished tiny terrors for SIGNIFICANTLY less th...

Re: What's the deal with the Dual Terror
That's great! I should be ordering mine next week. I just hope it isn't manhandled too much during the shipping process, even though i'll probably have to put fresh tubes in it when it comes in. Thanks for your reply! No problem! I manhandled the crap out of mine, and it held up beautifully. It spe...
