Re: ALL GOOD THINGS....

Hey Billy,
Just a quick thank you from the wild and windy Channel Island of Alderney - I was a forum admin for ten years and can appreciate the efforts you have put in behind the scenes. Have a rockin' festive season and peace and love to you and yours...
Cheers

Orange-1 v Appliances-0

Well... out on the rock here we had a more spectacular than usual power drop and surge the other day.
Toaster toasted and washing machine circuit board fried. CR60 survived without a twitch. Thanks for building a resilient circuit Orange  Rb

Maybe be a dumb question but what cable would I use from the 'phones jack? It would be going into a TRS balance...

Re: Yamaha Thr10C

Just a thought - as you're a Rockerverb man... how about giving a CR60C a go? Awesome RV based tone even at low volume. Plug and play, no messing and consistent. Sweeter than any modelling amp to my old ears anyways.

Re: NHD (Orange Content...)

Is there a recording studio in the basement? Ahhh, as per the original Orange studio - would be tough as I don't have a basement but the 'man cave' is shaping up nicely.. Should also help with finding the place if you ever forget your way home from the pub... ('House of Orange' means something slig...

P90 + split humbucker... 1x tone 1x vol - and a massive sonic palette - please try one! Get a Tribute and spend the change on a good set up and all the other 'bits' you need and you'll still have enough left over for a pint or two...

Re: Orange crush users

Hi kpunk... Aaah - when you said 'crush users' I immediately thought of the practice amp range. The CR60 and CR120 are different beasts altogether and as you've already discovered, they behave and feel much more like a tube amp. I've had a couple of Orange tube amps (and Marshall before that) and no...

Get your old chap to send it from the UK - I've just dumped in the size & weights quoted above in the Parcel2Go site and it works out at less than 150USD

I'm way past the honeymoon period now and the love has not diminished.
I do wonder how it would play as mini stack with a PPC112 underneath - hmmm...
