I gig with a TT combo ...absolutely no problems from a reliability/volume point of view. however there is another guitarist in the band that plays clean while i get the fun and play dirty.

The TT would not work if the roles were reversed though , not enough clean head room imho

i was 18 .... being a south paw was a huge problem , learnt a bit on a mates hondo strat with strings kept standard ... had a serious motorcycle accident ,lost sensation in my hands gave up on the guitar...fast forward 25 years... while surfing our local gumtree i come across an ad for a lefty ibane...

Mainly will use it at home but I am scared in the loss of tone quality if I decide on the 10 speaker. For home use the 10 inch will be 100 % fine with no problems. The difference in price between the 10 inch an 12 inch was the equivalent of about 200 $ (which is a nice chunk of change) in the count...

what do you intend using the TT combo for?

when i bought mine i played thru the 10 and 12inch combos and decided the 12 inch celestion was worth the extra money BUT i use my TT for gigging and felt hte tone was better suited to my needs.

I reckon amps are one of those items that it matters not what the year of production is..a case of newer is not necessarily better..... if the one u looking at works for yr ears an you get good price on it then just buy it ...
