Re: Interesting article for potential DIYers
WOW. Just wow. I can't believe the ignorance. I get not knowing some things, but some of these people shouldn't be allowed out of the house without an escort.

Re: Speaker examples
Man, that V30 all the way! But I liked the Governor a lot too. This really makes me want to swap two of the V30s in my Mesa cab for two Governors. Think together that would be a nice set!

Re: New Member & NAD Tiny Terror Combo
Well that was quick! Sounds like the Rocker was what you were really after in the first place. That sounds great, and I've heard nothing but good things about the Rocker 30!

Re: New Member & NAD Tiny Terror Combo
Welcome to Orange! I used to have a TT combo (the 1x10, not 1x12 speaker - which one do you have?). Anyways, it was way too loud for my townhouse so I sold it. Sort of regret it now that my only practice amp is a little solid state Crush that I bought used. But yes, the TT is a great little beast an...

Re: Pedal board Help!!
That would have been a good way to do it! But I managed to find the cable!Thinline_slim wrote:Remove all but one pedal from the equation. Guitar -> SKB gtr in -> SKB pedal send -> Only one Pedal -> SKB ped Ret -> SKB Out -> Amp. If that works you've eliminated the SKB being at fault. Then add pedals one by one.

Re: Pedal board Help!!
Same thing happened to me with a patch cable a while back. It would completely cut all sound when twisted slightly the wrong way, and I had no idea what was going on for awhile until I went through and checked every cable. After that I upgraded to some more reliable ones and thankfully haven't had ...

Re: Pedal board Help!!
2 ideas. 1) At the time you may have been running out of the Stereo output of the Alter Ego (may not have but I can't tell as it isn't pictured). 2) You have a dodgy pancake cable (I hate those cables as I find they often suck tone or crap out). Was not running out of the stereo out on the Alter Eg...

Re: Helpful salesman or opinionated musician?
Yeah, sounds way too pushy and not interested in actually listening to your actual needs. I would've started to tune him out and just looked at amps that interested me in that scenario!

Pedal board Help!!
Sorry for the mass picturing, but I need some help. I just hooked up my board, not entirely sure on the order of pedals as of yet - but y'all gave me some good recommendations to try! Anyways, I'm not getting anything out of the board. I have attached pictures so you can see exactly what I'm looking...

Re: NPD and NPBD!
If you want to get a tremolo in the future, I find they sometimes fit best after the delay, not before. What you have to decide for that is whether you want your tremoloed tone to be delayed, or your delay to be tremoloed..... if that makes sense!!!!!! I really like the look of that board!!!! Is th...

Re: NPD and NPBD!
That drive pedal sounds an interesting buy... Found this- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRjSdlJ4zWE I'm pretty sure Slim means from guitar straight into drive pedal... Only things I would normally run before drive would be compressor and wah. Delay before drive can work though it just gives a tota...

Re: NPD and NPBD!
Okay, that makes sense! I may swap the drive and mod pedals then, but I guess the best thing will be to see how it is next band practice! Thanks!!

Re: NPD and NPBD!
Cool man! That should fill up quickly. As for order I always prefer delay and reverb at the end after modulation and drive. Thanks! And yeah, I have been looking around on Proguitarshop.com a bit looking at phasers and tremelos and choruses! Okay... "At the end"... That means right bef...
