I've use Schaller straplocks for something like 14 years and never dropped a guitar and never had any wear and tear problems. And I move around quite a bit on stage! However, Apple's solution is easily the coolest so far :)

Ah, beer! My other main interest apart from music! I'm a member of a beer-tasting (and drinking) group and we've tried about 530 kinds of beer so far. Number one at the moment is Young's Double Chocolate Stout. I tend to like most ales and stouts and real pilsner, mostly British, Irish, Belgian and ...

Yeah Ben Folds has used guitars after the band split up. They actually made his music sound more ordinary imho. Hmm, I feel like a guitar traitor on this forum... :)

+1 to what retrotone said. Sounds like the basic tone you're after would be closer to an AD, and 30 watts will cover most gigs. I've never had my AD30 past 12 o'clock because people just can't handle the volume...

I have a Reverend Avenger and Slingshot which are both hollowbodies, they just don't look like they are. Both sound fantastic with Orange ADs, and feedback wonderfully of course!

I've just got a BJF Candy Apple Fuzz, going to try it w/ my AD30 in a couple of days, then I'll post the results here. It's one wild pedal! :o)Also, I've tried a couple of boosts and can recommend the Zvex Super Duper 2 in 1, it was better than the BJF and Keeley Time Machine pedals I tried.

I use Reverend Slingshot with P90s with my AD30TC. Sounds fantastic, you've got nothing to worry about! I think it'll be just like you expect it to.

While we're on the subject of plugging bands, I really need some opinions on our latest single, Eyes Wide Open. It's a free download from our website (www.holdenmusic.net). It has split the band (some love it, some, er, don't) so we need some outside input to decide the issue. Any comments would be ...
