You might be OK up to a point, especially as Celestion usually rate their speakers conservatively, but i'd probably change to higher rated speakers if you really want that amp. Sell the vintage 30s and buy something else. That being said, i'm struggling to think of...

I want to buy a Triple Rectifier head which is on sale locally. Would I be safe running it through my 120w PPC212? It's a 150w head and I'd rather not blow my speaker(s).

How loud would it have to be to blow a speaker? Thanks.

Could be dirty power. Try a few different outlets in a few different rooms in your home or in another building and see if it changes.

+1 for Affordable Cases. They built and shipped mine out within 4 days. Their measurements were perfect and they even threw an extra piece of foam in that fits between the feet on my 2x12. Great company.
