Re: NGD (in a few) 1965 Fender Mustang
Whatever happened to your jazzmaster craving? I seem to recall you wanting one pretty hard for a while there, although I haven't been around much lately. They have that long scale, did you not like it?

Dude, Killer find! I love those old fenders. I'll bet it plays and sounds great, probably so comfortable in your hands.

Re: What's your favourite Fuzz???? What do you do with it?
Currently using a Bass Big Muff which sounds excellent, and I bought it for $30. Its capable of cleaner, more transparent signals than the big muff, and diming the gain gets back to that big muff wall of sound. I like it because it takes my wah pedal exceptionally.

Where do you buy these for a good price?
UPS Store?
Elsewhere?
I asked the local music store and they want $12 for them!

Re: Moving Amps long distance
Oooof, pods are expensive! There goes that idea for me too. Where are you heading btw? Hollywood for your one true chance to make it as an action film star? :D Lol.. That might not be too far off :) Map 1 Map 2 Started a blog a while back, writing about it there - http://lifereformatted.wordpress.c...

Re: Moving Amps long distance
PODS would cost me $3500 for the small 7x8x7 box to move cross country. Way too much. Even the UPS U-Box would be around $2500. I've already sold most of my stuff. My furniture is mostly gone, my music gear has been downsized, hell I even sold my Orange amp today :( It was a long time coming, but it...

Re: Moving Amps long distance
Yeah, I'm really about minimalism these days. But let's face it, some things are just a necessity. And some things I already have are cheaper to ship UPS than to buy new when I relocate (plus I will have help from the east coast). My Thin Skin Jazzmaster is one of them. Not going anywhere. But the a...

Moving Amps long distance
Let's say you were about to move from the east to the west coast. You're not taking furniture with you, rather just selling what you have and starting fresh when you get there, since moving large stuff that far just costs so much. Now there are some things which don't get replaced. For example my gu...

Cut Fingers
I guess I overplayed my pinky and now there is a slice right down the side of it (as the top is well calloused.) What do you do when you cut your fingers and you don't want to take 3 days break to heal? I heard of people using super glue before but I was hoping some type of tape would do the trick t...

Re: Arctic monkeys settings
Dude, if he used that amp, then you probably will get a close enough sound... But exact settings? Forget it. Realize that an amplifier will sound very different even just by changing your position relative to the cab. And you are generally not going to hear the same thing that the microphone did.

Although I found the browser font size setting, it doesn't seem to change the forum font at all.

Re: Font Size
You can change font size on most any website (HTML text only) in your browser. The text on this page is pretty large actually, maybe you have it set smaller than "normal" size in your browser. Your probably right, since I use an outdated version of IE because I hack in when I am at work. I'll look ...

Font Size
Is there a way to enlarge the font posts? I couldn't find a setting in the UCP, and frankly I find the default font to be small to the point of eye strain. My eyes are bad enough the way it is.
