Re: close an open back
I'm looking to do the same thing to the same cab...... the 18mm birch plywood is pretty accessible from DIY stores....... Havn't seen the vids yet (I will), but would imagine long screws should do the trick. I'm very impressed with the build quality of the OB cab. I was getting the CB cab for a simi...

Re: Compression of sound- more volume needed for lead
It is a bit of a waste of the Dirty channel......
I personally find the Dirty channel is better for crunch than for lead. I use a bunch of pedals to get the lead sounds I want on top of both channels.
As kittenface says 'try it and see for yourself'.

Re: Leave on Standby before I switch off?
Cool...... I do tend to leave it for about a minute before powering down on my RK30. I guess there's no harm either way.
Nice 1.

Leave on Standby before I switch off?
Hey guys..... just curious, do I need to leave my amp on standby before I switch it off?
Or can I just flick it from On to Off?
Cheers.

Re-tubing Rocker 30 Head?
Hey guys, I've just read in another post regarding the RV50, that when changing its tubes you need to remove its chassis.
Do I need to do the same with the RK30, or can I just remove the power valves to access the pre-amp valves?
Cheers

Cool.... The Keeley modded Rat also sounds pretty darn' sweet. I get a big thick grunge sound with the neck humbucker.

Re: Electro Harmonix amp bargain! EDIT: IT ARRIVED ;)
What a sweet little vintage amp! I love old gear. Would like to hear the small stone, maybe if you get a chance. Top quality resolution and sound with the upload.
