Re: NAMM 2018
Hi all, firstly, sorry for my poor english and if it's not the right topic (i searched also on the technical but i've not find one just about the BHT15 so i choose this one that seems popular!!). I've just a question about the new BHT15, cause there is no precision about that on the spec of the amp'...

Re: rocker 30 fuses, chassis removing and killing myself
Hello, that's a very good question for the fuse... Since i had an issue with a Vox AC4, i decide to buy some fuse to have in spare. I have a Rocker30 head, that runs in 220-240V (France), and i'd like to know all the references of the different fuses used in it. So, there is the 5*20mm T500mAL /250V...

Re: RIP Jon Lord
Our keyboard player has been (and is still) greatly inspired by you and your playing. Be sure we'll perform again and again Deep Purple hits and your parts, like we already do for SOTW on live shows, adding some of the Made In Japan parts (keyboard talking to guitar).
RIP

Re: Rocker 30 Natural Channel and pedals
Mmmm...I've never tried a RC Booster on the natural, but i imagine it can bring this little thing lacks this channel...Or better: the Gamin'3 Push-Up 8) Or it can be useful just to have the good balance when using guitars with splitting coils (like mine, Big Apple Strat, awesome), to have the same v...

Re: Rocker 30 Natural Channel and pedals
Does the Natural channel of the Rocker 30 take pedals well? mine did - in fact i think the natural channel is better voiced than the dirty channel :) shame it was not loud enough to gig or practice with unmic'd... hence it's now owned by someone else Hi, nothing more to say about that :!: Mine take...

Andy.
Or other (and more "modern") Orange amps than a vintage sounding AD30

Re: Speakers for a PPC212 closed back?
Hi Andy, yes, badge will be on the wrong way, but i don't care!!! Anyway, thanks for the reply. I'll see later as i don't have the money for new speakers at the moment, but i don't use hi-gain settings on the Rocker, i prefer the gain between noon and max 1 o'clock, and i prefer increase the volume ...

Re: Speakers for a PPC212 closed back?
Hi, and thanks again Andy for this really detailed answer 8) In fact, to summarize, you suggest to put the PPC212 on its side to make a vertical 2*12 isn't it? That's what i was thinking about since i play with my (1st) band and for the future, cause at the moment my R30 has always be @home, but now...

Re: Speakers for a PPC212 closed back?
Hi all, sorry to reply so lately, and thanks for all the answers. The CL80 has reputation to be too "flat" for me, i'd prefer a speaker with some sounding signature like G12M, G12H (or i prefer keep the V30 if i don't find the good ones  ). In fact, i don't really want to mix speaker in PPC212...

Re: Speakers for a PPC212 closed back?
I'd say if the main thing you dislike about the V.30 is the upper mid peakiness you'd be way better off with the G12H-30 which is ball park similar but way less peaky in the upper mids. Hi all, i think i'm in the good place to explain what i'm looking for  I've a Rocker 30H with a PPC212 clos...

Re: Rocker30 preamp section scheme and tubes choice
Hi, Bertus, you're probably right (like Andy already told me) I bought some 12AX7 just to try to improve the tonal caracter/response of my amp in comparison to the factory chinese preamp tubes. For the clean, perhaps a good clean boost, i.e. a Xotic RC booster, would be the best bet. Thanks for your...
