Re: help with a recent switching pedal build...
I recently added a basic channel switching pedal to my true bypass loop pedal. I found that there was bleed over from one circuit to the other, possibly due to sharing a common ground, creating a grounding loop. I ended up having to isolate all connections (input jacks, switches) of the switch pedal...

Re: Footswitch LED and Dual Terror
you could add a 9v battery and rewire the led so that the ground to the led makes connection when the switch is deactivated, possibly. I recently built a channel selector for my ad140 and noticed that it was noisy when the channel was engaged. I assume this is because i left the LED out and the oran...

Re: Distortion/Overdrive Advice
I just picked up ts9 and it works very well for adding a bit more saturation and crunch. I think I'm using it for the same type of stuff as you. I set the volume at max, tone far left (it still adds high end to the sound a bit, but in a good way) and gain at about 2 o'clock. They are nearly identica...

Re: Tube Screamer Turbo!
Just giged my ts9 for thr first time. I love it! I already use a catalinbread SCP and a serano picoso boost, then through the ts9 in front of those with gain at 2 o'clock, volume maxed and tone set far left, omg! Perfect for over the top gained out crunch. I think it will be on my board for a while....

Re: Hey dudes :)
Do you know or have an idea of what was modded? Not a lot of people here have done many mods to thier orange, or at least don't talk about them often. I'd be interested in hearing, I love tweaking things. Welcome to the forum.

i send my delay into ridiculous self oscillation all the time at huge volumes with 35db boost in front of it and i've never had a problem with it.

Re: Tube Screamer Turbo!
I just bought a TS9 reissue from a guy on hamony central. I'm really interested in seeing how it interacts with my orange. Got it a good price, so I'm sure i can get rid of it in the case that I don't like it, but before that I plan on swapping the input cap and resistor to get some more low end in ...

Re: Anyone do their own Wah Wah mods?
my guess would be a grounding issue. check all your solder joints and the way you wired the 3dpt switch. EDIT EDIT EDIT just read the instrunctions on that site. you are using a DPDT and that makes sense with no led. try using the wah as the only thing in your effects line before the guitar, some pe...

Re: Terror Bass died with no explanation!
always unplug before you look inside an amp. I don't know if the fuses on those marshalls were close to the caps in the power source, etc, but that seems like a terrible place to put a fuse. also a good idea to keep on hand in your back pocket if you have to go snooping, but if you don't feel comfor...
