I think it looks great.

Does it sound better too, now that mods have been reversed?
Sounds absolutely amazing.

Re: speakers / cab question

thanks guys! both seem really good. in fact G12H-150 Redback seem amazing, but are a bit expensive...the cab + speakers could cost me alot with those. and they seem big...weight is not the problem...I'm used to lifting my Oranges and PPC412, but I do need something a bit more compact just because of...

speakers / cab question

I have a PPC412. I'm very satisfied with it but I do need something a bit smaller. Orange cabs are too expensive for me at the moment, and not what I'm looking for...they all use celestion vintage 30 speakers which don't have enough watts for my RV100 MKII or my OR120 Overdrive. I will use that cab ...

Re: Rockerverb 100 MKII "buzz" problem

That's a difficult one. That fact that plugged directly into the wall socket, the him disappeared seems to point out that it may not be a problem with the amp. It could be coincidental of course. Can you take that amp somewhere else to try it out? The tricky thing is that if your other amp behave f...

Rockerverb 100 MKII "buzz" problem

So, the other day I got an used Rockerverb 100 MKII. I got it from a guy who had it for 4 years and the last two years he didn't use it at all, the amp was mostly just being kept in his rehearsal space. When we turned it on it was connected to an extension cord and it had some sort of a buzz, or a h...

Re: Restoration of a 70s OR120 Overdrive

I don't think adding the piping would be too difficult. But I would have gone for period correct corners myself but they might be harder to source where you are... well first thing you can't get original is the tolex...well at least I can't...then there's the back panel that has been made new...I m...

Re: Restoration of a 70s OR120 Overdrive

The first thing the guy told me is that he's never done piping and he doesn't want to dollywaggle up so he would rather do it without...I said ok, and frankly, the thing turned out to look beyond my expectations...although he's never done piping he's a real pro at what he does. I'm extremely satsifi...

Re: Restoration of a 70s OR120 Overdrive

Nice work!!!! Getting an fx loop fitted is a good idea too. Was the circuit modified before you got it too or was that still original? You'll need to update your dog pic too.... ! what do you mean by circuit? the echo loop was original...echo loop doesn' t work properly with modern effects. ...

Restoration of a 70s OR120 Overdrive

A croatian amp builder (KFX amps) restored my OR120 Overdrive which was aesthetically in a quite beaten up shape. The first owner (I think I'm a third one) did some big chassis modifications which weren't very succesful in my opinion, completely removed the tolex, installed some handles on the side,...

Re: Rockerverb 50 mkiii vs AD30

my bad, sorry...but I would go for a RV100 anyway, because I'm in a very loud band :D...I'm picking up a used RV100 MKII next week and also have RV50 and OR120 Overdrive...I'll probably sell the RV50 though....maybe! cuz I freaking love that amp, and I'm in two bands, and 50 watts is enough for one ...

Re: Rockerverb 50 mkiii vs AD30

In my opinion RV50 MKIII is useless since RV100 MKIII exists and has a bunch of features that the 50 doesn't including switchable watts (100, 70, 50, 30) and an attenuator...so basically you get a RV50 with an attenuator, and other watt options. Also if you need a lot of cleans just put that baby to...

I'm gonna take my amp to that guy's place and I'm gonna compare them to solve this mystery once and for all. Will let you know next week. Be prepared to have you bubbles burst...or not :D .

Re: Orange Rockerverb 50 mkI vs Orange Rockerverb 100 MkII

I play loud and tune low (A Standard). The RV50 doesn't push the lows I need. I have the vintage OR120 Overdrive and that baby has a huge low end and I hear the difference and it bugs me. My bassist playst through a 600 watt SS > 2x10 > 1x15 + OR120 > peavey bass 4x12 cab. Huge sound. I'll probably ...

Orange Rockerverb 50 mkI vs Orange Rockerverb 100 MkII

I can get the RV 100 mkII for an insanely sweet price, but I would have to sell my trusty RV50 who has serverd me flawlessly for almost 10 years now. Now, any opinions on mkII series?...is it more or less the same thing like mkI only with a mid knob in the clean channel (which was again removed in m...
