Re: Your favorite TV series - Top 3

1. Breaking Bad
2. Rubicon
3. Mad Men

Kind of says something when they're all on the same network.

Re: Just ordered a Marshall Class 5

I just bought myself a Class 5 today. I must say that it's a killer little amp. It's LOUD too. I cranked it in the store of course, but I was a little afraid to go all the way to 10. That's how much volume you can get out of it. It's definitely a different beast compared to my Rocker 30.

Re: Marks from the TT feet

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. That's what I always use when my tolex is dirty. My PPC212 had marks from heads when I bought it and the Magic Eraser cleaned them right off.

Re: Thinking of making a Telecaster my main guitar

I would definitely go for a Telecaster. I have only been recently converted, but I can say that they rock. If a MIM is fine for you feature wise, buy a MIM. My Tele is a MIM and its neck tears the American Teles to pieces, IMO. Just play a ton and find one that you love. A lot of MIM Teles give Amer...

Thanks for clarifying. I was on the fence about when it was manufactured.

Check Out This Orange on eBay

It's a little out of the ordinary since it has been refurbished to the owner's specifications. The price seems decent, although I don't know how the mo...

That's awesome! I like how they have trouble keeping them in stock.

As far as apps go, here are some Android apps I use that haven't been mentioned yet:

Solo Lite

Mobile Metronome

Amazon MP3 Store

Re: Opinion on G&L USA legacy

I was definitely impressed with the quality of the guitar, and for $600 I thought it was a steal so I pulled the trigger on it. I really like the feeling that the gun oil tint gives to the neck. Overall the guitar was in perfect condition, only needed a professional setup and a change of strings (l...

Re: Les Paul tailpiece setup

So a good starting point would be: 1) Adjust action by moving bridge higher/lower 2) Move tailpiece as low as it can go without causing the strings to hit the bridge behind the saddle 3) ??? 4) Profit I thought Phase 3 was profit? You're supposed to collect underpants at some point too, I think. Yo...

Re: NOW WITH PICS - Bought a Tele Yesterday...

Nice. Cherry Hill or Oxford Valley? I like OV much more but I live in Cherry Hill now so I deal with it. Plus Sam Ash is basically next door in Cherry Hill so you can haggle better LOL It's from Plymouth Meeting. I am in Bucks County and live equidistant from Oxford Valley and Plymouth Meeting. For...

Re: NOW WITH PICS - Bought a Tele Yesterday...

Ryan.... did you get that from Philly CL? I saw one on there recently. No, I actually bought it from Guitar Center. I walked in for strings (I can only find the Rotosounds I use there) and walked out with the guitar and the strings. I fell in love with the neck and was able to do some hagglin...

I have never been into single coils, but a Telecaster recently converted me. For me it used to be "Les Paul or Bust".
