Yes, that is exactly what the majority of what I play is. The eq has a great sweep, very useful.

Re: CR60 story...

I am way past the honeymoon period with my CR60, this is the perfect amp for me, the cleans are what I tried for years to get out of my Rocker 30 with no success. It truely is "Pro" qualty from solidstate technology, simply fantastic.

Re: CR-60Pro...

I spent the better part of the day playing it, I put my TRex Reptile II delay in the effects loop and it sounded so 3 dimensional and lush, really am satisfied with this purchase.

Re: CR-60Pro...

The responsiveness of the dirty channel when rolling back the volume reacts just like a tube amp, very impressive.

Re: CR-60Pro...

Thanks! I have to say, the thought of not dealing with tube replacement and the sensitivities of tube amps is appealing to me, Orange has outdone themselves with the CrushPro Series.

Fast forward a couple of years and I have some work and squirreled away some money, but not near enough for the Rockerve...

Try lowering your pickups, I much prefer my SG's humbuckers adjusted a bit lower than most, gives a more open sound over all....less compressed and boomy, more jangley.

Re: Getting into synth??

The only way to go with synth for me is vintage analog, authenticity over digital simulation. I used to play in a noise ensemble with horns, cello and dude with the hugest collection of vintage Korgs, Sequential Circuits, Moogs, Arps etc.....pile of poop was bonkers and there isn't any simulation th...
