Re: Sheraton vs Casino

Yeah i have but they're harder to come by. I'm probably gonna be buying from ebay, either new or second hand in near perfect condition. Riviera's are going for quite a bit more and have they not been discontinued? Apparently Casino's are a fair bit lighter than Sheritons which is probably what makes...

Thanks for all the opinions guys. I hope i'm not breaking any rules by mentioning prices too much here but i'd seen a tokai les paul custom for round about the £300 sterling mark which i thought was an absolute steal, but then i've seen other tokai les paul customs selling for about £700 - so ...

I recently got an Epiphone valve special amp, its not a bad little amp for the money but i need a bit more crunch, a bit more top end and more overall gain. I'm using it with an original Marshall Guv'nor pedal and the sound is good but i'm not a pedal geek, i prefer to go straight into the amp. Can ...

I'm thinking of getting a les paul custom, i can't justify paying in excess of £1500 so Gibson is out of the question. I used to have an Epiphone version and was very pleased with overall build quality and sound - however i was thinking of trying a tokai version. Any one played the Tokai LC53? Th...

I'm afraid im a firm believer that a few beers brings out the best in me, it may be that i'm practically alcoholic anyway so i need a few beers in order to do anything compitently, but sometimes i feel so wooden when playing guitar sober, my fingers feel sluggish and it takes a while to warm up, aft...

I play overdriven blues/rock/british/ crunchy classic rock through my AD30, i cant really imagine using it for much else, i play a lot of ambient FXy stuff too, but i wouldn't normally use the orange for that, although i'm sure its cabaple in the right hands.

Actually i've found i cant get the wooden panel off the back of my AD30r to get to the valves, well i could but i'd have to shed some real sweat putting all my weight behind a screwdriver and something tells me thats not right, or maybe i'm just very weak?

Its weird, i play an AD30R and i've played it in some really loud situations and never had to have the volume above half way. I cant imagine how loud an 140 watt valve is and i cant imagine any situation where you could have it turned up anywhere near full without everyone screaming at you. Most of ...

Thanks guys, it'll only be at a low volume (bedroom volume!) so think it will be fine.
My next purchase is a Hammond XB2 complete with Lesley, so its only a temp mesure till i get the Lesley.
God damn, at this rate my Telecaster is gonna be gathering some serious dust!

Hi guys, not been on here for years, hope all is well. I recently invested in a Fender Rhodes, i'm yet to collect it but was intending on using it through my AD30r when i get it, for that overdriven sound, this will not kill my amp will it? i know people often use em through a Fender twin but i know...

I'm getting myself an Epiphone valve junior amp.

5 Watts class a valve amp for under £100. I can't wait. I would have thought that would be perfect for home use.
