I sold mine for way more than I paid for it (bought it for $950 used). Its all-right and is definitely british, but is a strange sounding head, to be frank. Seems like it would have a lot of bass but doesnt?

Thats pretty cool man. My band won about 5 battles of the bands and we made a pact to quit doing them. Ha! The last one got us a lot of U.S. and Europe radio play though, a video and some mastering, so that was pretty cool.

....and actually probably the best budget pre you can get os the FMR Really Nice Preamp. If you must go cheap, get that one.
