Re: Running amp without reverb valve?
Well i will definitely give it a shot, fingers crossed i might notice an improvement. Im hoping to get the reverb fixed at some point, but i am yet to find a decent tech locally, plus funds are a bit tight at the moment (hence not wanting to fork out for an extra valve thats not even going to get us...

Re: I just scored an Ad30r
Nice score! I am also a fan of the reverb on the AD30R, but unfortunately mine stopped working some time ago and im too lazy to get it fixed, so ive been using a holy grail instead. As far as im aware the reverb isn't footswitchable, however i enjoy having constant reverb at a subtle to moderate lev...

Re: Running amp without reverb valve?
Thanks for the response.
Just wanted to make sure i wasnt going to cause any damage by doing it.
How would you say pulling the reverb tube has affected your tone?
Craig.

Running amp without reverb valve?
Hey. The reverb on my AD30R stopped working a long time ago, so i've been using a holy grail instead which im more than happy with. However, im looking to get some new tubes for my amp, and was wondering do i even need to have a valve in the reverb position seeing as it's not working? Its kind of an...

Re: Memory Man wont turn off?
I couldn't see any damage inside apart from the wire that i re-soldered. Ive just been trying it out again, and it takes about 5 seconds from when you hit the foot switch to the actual effect turning off. The LED goes off straight away, but the effect itself stays on for around 5 seconds and then st...

Memory Man wont turn off?
I went to use my memory man earlier, and for some reason it wont turn off when you step on the bypass switch. I opened it up and noticed the solder joint going to the power switch on the back had broken, so i re-soldered it, but it hasn't fixed the problem. It's strange because the LED goes off, but...

Re: Telecaster Bridge Question.
I would convert to a top loader, not that I know where to find one, but that way, you don't have to worry about the string hole placement. The bridge i have on there now is already top loading, the guitar isn't drilled to allow it to be strung through the body. This is pretty frustrating though. I ...

Re: Telecaster Bridge Question.
Yeah i just realised that too after looking at the Glendale bridge a bit more closely.
To be honest im not worried about the drilling. I would prefer to follow some sort of guide on this mod if there is one out there though?
Craig.

Re: Telecaster Bridge Question.
The Glendale option does look ideal, but sadly out of my price range for a while.
Dont suppose there are any cheaper versions of the Glendale out there? Seems very steep considering the only difference seems to be three holes instead of four.

Telecaster Bridge Question.
Hi Im looking to replace to the bridge on my telecaster, but have encountered a couple of problems. Ideally i would like to swap the current bridge for a vintage bridge with brass saddles. However, the current bridge only has three mounting holes instead of the traditional four. Also i believe the d...

Re: bad to throw a fuzz on top of an overdriven amp?
I agree with Teddy, i cant imagine that sounding good at all, but each to their own i guess.
You say you love tube amps, but in my opinion, cranking the gain and keeping the master low kind of defeats the point.

Re: Tried out an AD30 TC Combo Today at my Local Orange Dealer..
I had a AD30TC for a bit when my AD30R was getting repaired. I only had it for about a month but always settled with channel 1, it was a lot closer to the sound i was used to from the AD30R.
If you liked channel 1 on the TC then definitely try and check out an AD30R.
