Thanks for the feedback.

I think that i am a Fender Guy at heart, I just cant get a nice blues clean from the TT that is working for me (At lower volumes) If i get to open the TT up to full volume, and gain at 11 oclock, that works nice, but not for the wife.

Hi MSP, I am in a similar situation. I have a Tiny Terror Combo, which I like, but I miss that Fender clean. A guy is offering to trade me straight across the TT combo for the 59 BM LTD. Are you still happy with the deal? Do you miss the TT? I am also concerned that the Fender will be too loud for h...

Hi All, Had a chance the last 2 days to open up my new tiny terror combo, needed to break in the speaker!! Man I swear that this amp is louder than my AC30 CC1!! I replaced the chinese tubes with JJ, and I notice with the volume maxed, on 15w or 7w settings with the gain at 3:00 I am getting constan...

Thanks for adding me to the club.

surprised to hear people on this board not liking the combo?
I think the open back cab, and the G12H makes for a fuller less boxy sound, that has better clean tone all the way through to the higher gain.

Oh well to each their own i guess.

HI All, Went out to purchase: a. Princeton reverb re-issue b. Ltd tweed blues jr. Came home with the tiny terror combo. I was so impressed ( More than the head and cab version) good clean all the way through high gain. I have been a Fender amp player for many years, and have been through an amp ques...

Check out the Tech 21 Delay. It had a 9db boost, great flutter for chorus and its 100% analogue.

I used to have an AC15, and upgraded to the AC30 as it has two channels, better reverb and a cut.
I might rent a TT spend the $20, and do a good A & B test over the weekend.

Thanks for all the input.

I tried the TT again today, and really like it. I like the simplicity of gain, tone and volume as well as being able to use different cabs. I still like the VOX, and will probably miss the reverb and trem, but in order to get that amp to sound great it has to be in the 50% range, which is way too lo...

There must be some similarities,The VOX AC 15 is a 2 EL84 class A cathode biased amp, same as the TT?

How about good breakup and rock tones on 7w at home, is that doable on the TT?

Thanks,

Hi All, I am currently using a VOX AC30 CC1, great amp. I love EL84 amps. Recently tried the TT at a local store, and I am now thinking of making the switch. I might hold out for the TT Combo. I know that the amp will be darker, which is not a bad thing as i play a tele. I like the concept of simple...
