Re: Trying to hit some Gilmour sound
Strat, ram's head Big Muff (clone), Uni-Vibe (clone), tape delay (or digital modeller, there's some awesome stuff outthere) into a fairly bright clean amp. There you go.

Re: NPD: Boss DD500 delay
It's very easy to use. More intuitive than my Strymon Mobius for example. And the sounds are steller. With the knobs on the face most tweaks can be done on the fly. Once you dive deeper into the menu there's a shitload of options with special parameters for each delay model. Switches can be assigned...

Re: NPD: Boss DD500 delay
Sounds like it might even be better than my old Dan-Echo... I used to have one of those! They were pretty awesome. Then spent a while without and about eight years ago got the MXR Carbon Copy. A while ago i figured that i needed more settings. You know; a slapback, medium, long, dotted eight "Edge"...

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!
Latest update: Added the DD500 to the main board and the Carbon Copy moved to my session board which is powered by a Rockboard Power LT (similar to a Pedaltrain Volto). https://scontent-ams3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xft1/t31.0-8/12014993_1073316189352916_1871450400636726281_o.jpg https://scontent-ams3...

Re: Ever bought a dud?
I knew this was turning into a 'anti mesa' thread in a way. Love mine. Anyhow... My dud was a Fender Performer 1000 amp. Sounded just fine at home but didn't cut it in the presence of a drummer. Should be a hybrid like the Marshall Valvestate amps. But it didn't have the punch. Or anything for that ...

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!
Been changing the layout a bit. Preparing for the arrival of the Boss DD-500 digital delay.
And the Ibanez TS9 has been replaced by the Maxon OD808. No regrets there.

Re: Phaser help
If a phase 90 is too much maybe the MXR Phase 45 is an option. Or have a look at the EHX Small Stone or maybe Bad Stone. And i always liked the clarity of the Maxon Phaser. All of those arent the most expensive options either. O, if money isn't the biggest issue have a look at this , The Phase24 by ...

Re: Tubescreamer question...
This thread reminds me that I need to build an OCD..... No man, don't! Just get yourself the EHX OD Glove. It's a steal and sounds awesome! I just got one to make a small board for sessions. That board will have a tuner, EHX Soul Food , the OD Glove and a delay. But the Glove sounds just as good as...

Re: Tubescreamer question...
Fulltone OCD overdrive .... any model is better than a Tubescreamer IMO. I am not saying the tubescreamer is bad or anything. But being a tubescreamer guy for many years , When I discovered the OCD it was like.... tubescreamer what? I would totally pick an OCD everyday over a tubescreamer. Besides ...

Re: Tubescreamer question...
Well... The pedal wasn't faulty at all... One output of my Cioks DC10 was only delivering a wee 3,7 volts dc so it's swapped because it went faulty within 30 days. Still i ended up with a Maxon OD808 because it had a more 'open' sound. The TS9's tone seemed more compressed in comparison. So i'm real...
