I used to own an AD15/12 and it was truly a blues MACHINE. The TT sounds phenominal but yeah its hard to get a loud clean out of it. Although apparently Death Cab is using them now.... On another note, a Blackheart Little Giant or Handsome Devil will give you seriously awsome tone and value. Check t...

Yeah, I meant more of just the STYLE of bands like MTB, I have no great desire to play just like them. As far as my old AD15 it may have been the EQing, i tended to run the mids a bit high. That and I use relativly bright pickups. My baby is my honey blonde American Deluxe V-Neck Stratocaster which ...

Yeah, right now I'm leaning towards the Orange. I have some hesitation based on an AD-15/12 that had so much uncontrollable treble I thought my ears would bleed, but the Rocker/Verb stuff is voiced differnatly I know. Yeah, maybe I used the wrong word there with "punk" more like Alternative rock wit...

"Insane" and "articulate" arrent always friends with fuzz pedals. I guess just play around, but you can always try the old mainstay, the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi (A la Jack White, Smashing Pumpkins) or maybe a BBE Free Fuzz. Course if you want REALLY insane, check out a ZVEX Fuzz Factory (main d...

Im down to 3 differant amps im choosing between : a Mesa Stiletto Ace, a Marshall Vintage Modern, and an Orange Rocker 30. Im playing alot of stuff with a...

Just thought I'd throw my two cents worth in the ring here. My friend just recently picked up a Blackheart Little Giant Combo (same speaker/constuction as the 1x12) and I was blown away at the quality and tone you get for the money. I honestly felt that the Blackheart was better cosmetically and con...

Now I wanna say now that my absolute ideal has always been the Mesa Stiletto (since they came out). They're just very expensive (for me, poor college kid). What I'm considering now is a Tiny Terror+PPC212. I'd prefer the Stiletto but seeing as I'm going to be moving all over the place and living som...

yeah, i always thought oranges were supposed to be dark-ish, but this thing is a friggin ICE PICK if i have the treble on above....off :x Yeah, the tiny terror is cool, but i just don't like the "made in korea" factor. and i DEFINATLY need clean. Not complex clean, but good sounding clean. I'm shoot...

hey, guys, been a while. so i've had some time now to get used to my 2003 AD15/12, and after playing live and in a variaty of rooms with a variaty of guitars, i have some qualms with the tone. Its just so friggin BRIGHT! Like, not good bright. Through either my Strat or Tele i have to turn the trebl...

So only a ferw short weeks after purchasing what has become my beloved ad15, it no longer works. It simply won't turn on. No "circumstances" or anything, it just wont turn on. There is a slight hum and the GZ34 glows faintly, but the power light won't come on and the guitar dosn't sound through it. ...

To Musicman_1300: ALL the tubes are brand-new JJ's I was running it all the way up And no, no hollowbody guitar. Sadly I can't try it out with any other guitars, as i don't really have any others... (the tele is being borrowed) I mean, don't get me wrong, i love the sound, i just think i might need ...
