These have been on my bucketlist for awhile. I used to have a 74 OR 120, but traded it off a few years ago. Got an excellent deal on this OR 80 I couldn't pass up. Digging it more than the OR 120, it breaks up sooner. Sounds killer, has great cleans and can get pretty knarly too ! Sounds awesome wit...

IME Oranges do not take gain/drive/fuzz pedals well. It take a while to find one that cooperates. I had okay luck with a Gen 1 Pharoah fuzz in the past but haven't used a dirt pedal in ages now. Perhaps try it in the effects loop, as it would bypass the preamp and might work better. Also which fuzz...

Both would work. The pharoah goes great w Modern oranges. ( and vintage ) If you're playing this genre, louder is always better.

GRATS ! I recently traded mine for a 77 Les Paul standard. ( I have a few amps and my matamp GTO 120 gets the same tones ) Mine was freaking loud and clean until it was dimed !
