Hey all,

I have been in NY the last few weekends and stopped by a well-known guitar store where they are selling a Retro 50 combo. Anyone have any information on what the specs on the Retro combo are as well as any history associated with it?

We are in the studio now and having a major issue with the RV combo. It is emitting a loud Hum when it is off standby. We have troubleshot by eliminating variables. lots of good thoughts here. The problem I've been having with my RV50 combo is that I can't get a light british crunch sound. I try to dial up the clean and it sounds like the v30s start to break up too much and they lose control. sort of "splatty" sounding. Any speaker suggestions?

has anyone tried the alnico golds? Supposedly the same as the ALnico blues but able to handle a higher level...more suitable to the RV50 and 100.

Has anyone tried an orange through the alnico gold speakers? I emailed Dave at Avatar because I was interested in the Blues and he asid the Golds might be what I'm lloking for since I have a rockerverb and the Golds were made to handle higher output. Thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on Orange Amps through speakers other than the Vintage 30s. I would love to hear from people who have played an Orange through something like the Alnico Blues or the Celestion G12T-75s.

Hey guys--Was wondering if someone might be able to tell me the difference between the Rockerverb series and the AD Series in terms of sound. I am trying to decide if I should get the Rockerverb 100 or AD140.

Also is there any difference other than output between the AD120 and the AD140?
