Re: Ear Plugs

The etymotics are great.

If you want customs made up speak to Dr.Craig from ACS Custom. "Craig A. Kasper, Au.D., FAAA" <[email protected]> Tell him Tim with Third Eye Blind sent you and he'll hook you up.

Either that or find a friendly European who is coming over to America and they can carry it with them on the plane and avoid all the charges.

Re: Road Cases Needed In Los Angeles Area, QUICK!

AS Cases are great - would recommend.

They made cases for me when I was with Third Eye Blind and were quick and effective.

Re: Orange Slave 120 Graphic, price..?

As everyone else has said here, the slaves are useless unless: a)you live in 1976 and don't have a PA and are playing huge shows b)you run a modeller through it - something like the Fractal would actually work really well. c)you are trying to put together a vintage all tube PA, at which point you ar...

that is £400 trade, not £400 retail for s/h, but I wouldn't want to pay more than trade on anything anyway!

Re: Vintage Orange 1x15 bass cab help?!

with horns - I'd put £200 or $300 down on that.

without - £100 or $150.

I have had a few of these cabs, and the weight to sound ratio isn't worthwhile for your back!

Re: H+K Redbox

I like the Redbox...

but!

If you are in the UK, try a Motherload - like a Redbox and Hotplate combined, but better at both.

I have sent a load of the bands I work with out with them and I love them - there is a lot more control, and the hotplate side of things is a lot nicer than a hotplate!

Re: Gibson SG Menace - advice needed

I think £600 is way too high - trade second hand prices on standards is about £400 best price, and the menace wasn't a great guitar.

Just see how low you can get it!

Re: AD50 blowing fuse - What was actually wrong

I think there is a real discrepancy between what you *should* do, and what you can get away with doing. I have flown guitars without slacking off the strings (accidentally!), I have switched all manner of things in ways I shouldn't, and so far have got away with it. One of the things I have learnt w...

I'm in (roughly) the same boat. I'm just about to head out to the states for the Bamboozle festival tour and I am looking forward to it!

Neil - where do I have to be to find an Oler boost in the States for Third Eye Blind?

Mine is for sale - but clearly not on this forum!

I don't have the RV anymore as I kept hold of my Retro instead.

It is black though!

Re: WTB: Empty head box for AD200

I have one for an RV50 - are these the same size?

I'm pretty sure you could retro-fit an AD200 into it!
