I have found the setting for my 57 goldtop reissue... neck pickup played through an old Super reverb with reverb about 4. Volume about 5,treble at 7, mid at 6, bass at 3. The sound is awsome,,, from heaven.

I have an American Deluxe tele, and I love 2 things about it: the way it wails in the bridge position, and the smooth, satin finish neck. I never play in the neck position...not impressive.

I love the thick neck on my goldtop. It was one of the bigger selling points for me.

I have a TT and PPC 212 combination and I love it. It sounds DEEP. Really rocks. It is not so much heavy as cumbersome because of its shape. It's a keeper.

Before now, I'd never really played through a vintage Fender amp. When I tried this one, I had to have it. The best way I can describe it is that it PUNCHES the notes out, with a crack! I don't even have to use a pick, just my fingers. Breaks up around 6. Beautiful sounds with my Les Paul. Vintage F...

I'm still looking for that sweet spot on my Lonestar at 30 watts. At 5 watts it sounds incredible. I really like how the controls respond so well to tweaking. The reverb controls are extremly responsive.
It really does take time to get the sound you want.
