Re: Please help me choose an amp.

The Tiny Terror is a beast of an amplifier. What it lacks in features it makes up for in 'SHABANG' I dont know how to describe it but the mojo factor with the TT just there. With the crush it will not be there in the same way. I'd nearly get another one!

Re: Compliment/contrast my AD15 (Fender, Vox, Supro?)

I've played a couple of the other supros and they were really really cool. A 2x10 and a 1x12 both combos but cannot for the life of me remember the models. Great options. Never really been a fan of the 15watt Fender amps cos they tend to flub out a bit with higher volume and bass frequencies start f...

Great scores and congrats on the graduation! Still love that paisley, though! Cheers Billy! Apologies about Dublin I was looking forward to coming up and meeting you guys but life got in the way I'm afraid! I trust you two had a good time? The Paisley is just a great player and I always come back t...

Sound Clips of the Les Paul

Hello all and sundry! I have been off work with a flu today so having the house to myself I decided to record some sound clips of the recently acquired 1993 Les Paul Standard that I had some Creamery Classic 59 PAF style pickups installed into. I ran the guitar into a Tiny Terror on 15 watt mode, ev...

Re: Which is your favourite Orange amp?

Im really torn on this question but I suppose my heart really lies with the Tiny Terror. I've used it for more gigs than anything else and its wickedly versatile despite its obvious limitations. I think when using single coils you can really keep it under control but recently I've been using an LP a...

Cathode biased amps

Recently I had a test drive of a Groove Tubes Soul-O-50 watt amp in one of the local shops in Dublin. The proprietor of the shop tells me that they can take any type of tube which makes it sound like a really versatile piece of kit. Then recently on one of the andertons videos or that pedal show (ca...

Re: what kind of GAS patient are you?

All the GAS - In the last year i've changed my entire rig both for practical as well as sonic reasons. I also had a buddy who's just lost the plot buying high end gear. I sold 2 mexican fender guitars and bought a 90's Gibson LP I sold a PPC212 CB and bought an Orange SP212 as well as a PPC112 I bou...

Re: Orange-spotting: And So I Watch You From Afar

These guys are damn good but they are also hella f*****g loud! I saw them in a tiny bar in Limerick a number of years ago. They were using Marshalls at the time JCM800's and a JTM45 if i remember right. Orange amps must have them sponsored or endorsed? I think its cool that lots of these post rock/m...
