Re: NGD

Oh man! I had one of those for a few days before returning it for some horrible finish flaws. It was killer with my R30. I was shocked how great the cleans sounded. Good find man! The SG Junior was last on my list until I found this beauty: https://photos.app.goo.gl/wrJs5JwkDbRf5B739 Almost all of ...

Hows the form!? Swapped out a mexi hendrix strat for this lad and I am speechless! for a single pickup guitar it has such a range of tones and thru the AD30 I think we have found a mutually beneficial musical relationship! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50067795163_a6bb72c3bf_h.jpg full throttl...

Re: Orange Amps &/E.Q Pedals

An eq pedal is one of the most useful effects pedals you can have on your board. I know the shape control on your amp shifts the tone parameters rather than making it more bassy or more trebely (forgive the technical jargon there) but an eq is really useful to help boost or cut certain frequencies w...

(I have two slightly different versions, sometimes one just isn't enough. Also their superb Sidecar...

Re: Why/how did the forum lose its popularity?

Literally only found this out today! This is the only gear forum that was welcoming that I found. Some serious characters and some really knowledgeable folks. I learned nearly everything I know about valves and valve amps here. Like if your on a tone quest just search here and you will find directio...

Re: NAD (Orange content)

I'll definitely do the sharpie mod! And I might see if I can get some new top hat knobs off ebay.. The amp is pure class. I might see if I can find an old silver face bassman to use with it. The Hot Rod is fine but it definitely had spiky highs that are hard to manage. You run 2 AD30s don't you Bill...

Re: What Made You Choose ORANGE?

All the player's in and around where I come from had either Fender DeVilles or HRDs or Marshall DSL 50s. I tried an ac30, a Marshall JCM800 (which I really thought I wanted), a Marshall JVM, a vintage modern (which was nice) and a Fender twin and nothing really made me say wow until I asked a dealer...

Re: Please help me choose an amp.

The Tiny Terror is a beast of an amplifier. What it lacks in features it makes up for in 'SHABANG' I dont know how to describe it but the mojo factor with the TT just there. With the crush it will not be there in the same way. I'd nearly get another one!
