I recently purchased a 60's Kay Archtop. The thing looks super nice. The action is way to high to even play the thing. It has no Truss rod and the bridge is as low as it can go. Is there anything i can do ?

this guy lives 3 towns over from me. i got to see it in person. the reason you see a crate sign is because he's a crate dealer. It is the real deal...he also owns a acoustic bass stack that led zep used as well.

well i do use the overdrive more often then the clean, but in those certain parts of the songs i need crystal clear cleans. The vox would be cheaper as well. I'm not sure. the TT sounded so good today hahahah

I picked up a 4x12 orange cab last night. I know it's a 70's one...i opened her up and has some celestion g12/50 speakers. The label is greenish and says 15 ohms (as well as the back of the cab) and the actual speakers are orange. I'm guessing these are the original speakers but wanted to make sure....

I just got a empty ampeg 8x10 cabinet. I just would like to have a nice big cab for practice with my band. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as cheap bass 10 inch speakers. Cheaper the better. Thanks!
