Re: AD30TC 2x12 Replacement Screws

I've found that Home Depot and Lowes are crap when it comes to hardware. We have an Ace dealer here in my town which is fantastic. I've found all sorts of compatible hardware there. And if you only need one screw, they let you buy just one screw! aha, i didn't even think of that. when I first encou...

Re: My other guitarists Fender DeVille vs. my AD30

I will mark this down as the first time in history a Deville was said to sound better dirty than an Orange. I know you mostly said louder but you kind of hinted towards better too. Maybe there's something wrong with your AD30? Those Fenders have terrible dirt sounds to my ears. I own an AD30T...

Re: Jazzmaster?

I had one for a couple of years. It's very chimey, with possibly the most beautiful cleans I've heard. It's got a strangely appealing harshness of sorts (which can be dialed back with the tone knob) when overdriven/distorted. Unfortunately, it didn't really suit my needs in the band I was playing in...

Re: Met my first Craigslist crazy!

I once had a woman in her 60's come by to buy that red Ovation in my signature picture. She was a little kooky, but a surprisingly talented finger-picker. But, much like you said, it was only a $250 guitar, and she spent over an hour playing it before saying she wanted to buy it, but tried to low-ba...

Re: AD30TC 2x12 Replacement Screws

Not the screws that actually hold the amp chassis, but the ones that are in the four corners of the panel, attaching it to the cabinet. I had taken them into a Home Depot a while back and used the screw size match things to no avail, and the sales person was of no help either. Perhaps I should just ...

AD30TC 2x12 Replacement Screws

Hey guys, been a while! It seems that my screws on the back panel holding the chassis are getting painfully close to being completely stripped out. Also, i've lots one of the little black rings. I was wondering if I'd be able to just order 4 of these bad boys from Orange directly, or if anybody woul...

Re: Frankinstein Guitar Works?

I ended up trading the Thinline for an Early 2000s Dearmond M77-T and Early 90s Bluesbreaker (the old giant tank version)...pretty happy thusfar....got a big settlement check from an insurance claim AND a great tax return, so I may just buy this one outright if I can't get it off my mind.

Frankinstein Guitar Works?

anybody have any experience with these guitars. I've got an opportunity to trade my thinline (+ a small amount of cash) for this LP Junior type....call me crazy, but I think this guitar is absolutely gorgeous, and it's a local deal which is even better. Of course, I like to do my research on brands ...

Re: My AD30TC Combo

A good rectifier valve is worth it. I've got a nice old GE one in mine - never heard a peep out of it. I found a problem with another guy's AD15 that kept blowing fuses though: his rectifier had gone. hmm...the problem DID start a couple months after putting in a new rectifier valve...I've still go...

My AD30TC Combo

http://thegatorboard.com/images/smilies/120.gif For a while there it would blow a fuse randomly every couple months, but would work perfectly upon replacement....now the fix doesn't work. I get nothing...no sound of any type, not even for a minute...I haven't got a dime to put toward taking this to...
