Interesting, guys. My dilemma is that I love the TT sound straight to the amp, and sometimes use an eq pedal as a boost (which I find compresses the rawness of the sound a little), but I want to be able to play over loops that have different tone at the same time, so I was thinking of a DL4 (as it h...

Hi All, I haven't posted in a long time so I thought I'd re-introduce myself. I'm Craig and a posted about a year ago when I got my TT, and I still love it as much as the day I got it. As for all the current Avatar hype, I should also mention that I have a Avatar G212H special with a V30 and G12h30 ...

I saw it twice and I agree - alice in chains kicked ass and kick ass. Cantrell is the man.

I play rock and I have a 2 x12 with a V30 and G12H30 closed back which sound great. I've heard great things about the green backs though, and they break up pretty early too. Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains swears by green backs, and he has some of the sweetest tone i've heard. Either way I don't...

i'm a big Queens fan - I also agree that the last album was a bit over produced, to the point where some of the different guitar sounds kind of bleeded together and become less present - if that makes sense. I still like them a lot though, and think they are a great band.

I didn't want to hijack the other Hiwatt thread so I thought I'd start a new one for the question. I was just wondering if any of you guys have tried, owned or heard about the Korean made Hiwatt 20, and have any opinions on them? I was wondering because it can be less then one thrid of the price of ...

I've been to parsons. From what I remember they dealt mostly in low end gear, but Tom Lee still has a monopoly on things - however it's good to see parsons getting Orange, Tom Lee needs some competition. I hope things have changed in Tom Lee, cause most of those people needed serious attitude adjust...

Hi Vincent, I have the TT and I like it just fine without the FX loop. I sometimes have a boss ge-7 infront and it works just fine. Like others have said, it is what it is - just like the Valve Junior wouldn't be what it is if it had the extra applications that the TT has. I would just go for what y...

You should check out something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/G-L-Invader-USA_W0QQitemZ300114906249QQihZ020QQcategoryZ2384QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem They have a g&L skyhawk with 3 single coils on ebay right now also. I have a g&l rampage that is plretty much the same guitar as this 80s Invader, but mine h...

Another good choice maybe one of those G&L superstrats from the mid to late 80's. One of those g&L superhawk's with 2 humbucker's or Invader's 2 single coils and 1 humbucker from the 80's sound awsome, and you can get a nice range of tone's through them too. You can find them used for pretty good de...

I've tried that TT through a bunch of different cabs/speakers and I have to say that the different cabs produced really different tones - Some were to my liking a lot, some not so much. I ended up getting an Avatar 2x12 close back with V30/G12H30, because it had a similar sound to a Dr. Z cab I real...
