One for people in the UK

Was wondering if any of you guys have bought from http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; recently?

Am thinking of ordering some gear from them but try to be quite careful when buying online / via the phone...

Thanks in advance.

Re: RV 50 combo

Hi Doug, I had this prob with my Cornford combo. Certain frequencies caused a rattling / vibrating / buzzing noise. What I ended up doing after numerous suggestions from the guys on here, was to swap out my power tubes. Cornford sent a new pair. Thankfully this worked for me - no more rattle. One of...

Thanks for the advice guys. Joe, I've been in touch with GS regarding getting one with a humbucker at the neck and single coil at the bridge. Do you know if the one you tried was just wound differently? How did you find the stock neck by the way? Ive been told they are a D shape and similar to a Les...

Thanks Joe.

Did its sound as one would expect of a tele styled guitar?

May I ask why you wouldn't consider buying a new one? Do you feel they are overpriced?

Orange do a white PPC112? Thought white was limted to the UK made amps and cabs only.

I hope you're right though!

In case you havn't seen my response...

Yes, changing the power tubes did eliminate the vibrating sound from my Cornford. One of the old tubes was making a much louder sound when shaken. Am quite pleased / relieved as I really like this amp.

Again, thats for your comments and advice.

Mark.
