May I ask why you wouldn't consider buying a new one? Do you feel they are overpriced?

In case you havn't seen my response...

Yes, changing the power tubes did eliminate the vibrating sound from my Cornford. One of the old tubes was making a much louder sound when shaken. Am quite pleased / relieved as I really like this amp.
