I put in late breakup JJ EL84s and 12au7 preamptubes to v3 and v4 (2 furthest from the input jack). Now I get a nice clean out the fat-channel. The TT channel has always been good.

I would get V30's for the Marshall cab. Or perhaps just 2 of them (and leave 2 original speakers). A 412 is better sounding with TT than a 112 (in my opinion).

What tubes do you all suggest for the Dual Terror to help produce a cleaner tone with more headroom? I know that's not exactly what this little monster was made for...but some combination of tubes must clean it up some?
