Completed Monochromatic Pedal Board: Apples & Oranges (Orange content)
https://i.imgur.com/94KLh7p.jpg I finally completed my full board on NYE. I wasn’t initially headed for an all-green board but after the urging of my daughter to paint the Wah, I found myself, by happenstance, four green pedals deep. After seeing a post here with someone’s monochromatic black & whi...

Re: Convince me to keep my TH30
Hate to echo the sentiment, but sounds like 50W is what the doctor ordered. Rockerverb or OR50 perhaps? You did say you're used to 100W, there's plenty in the Orange line-up there as well...

Refinished an old Wah
Daughter ended up commenting how my Wah was the only non-green pedal on the board...changed that quickly with some sparkly paint. Turned out much better than expected! Its amazing the color selections out there for spray paint. Any one have some other cool pedal art to share? https://i.imgur.com/zzB...

Re: Buying an orange amp
I love my AD30HTC (and PPC212). If you're dead set on a combo, the ADs are out there but pretty rare. You could also check out an AD15 if you're on the used market too - that's combo only (think its single channel). There happens to currently be an Ad30R combo (2x12) and an AD30TC combo on Reverb......

Re: Orange Cleaning Tips?
The results of this cleaning were so good that I ended up doing every amp in the house haha! Cleanest the Bass Terror Combo has been since I've owned it and my little Epi turned out perfect too. That D5 Oxit is magic!

Re: Orange Cleaning Tips?
Thanks guys! Snagging a can of air and oxit this weekend and knocking this out. Just pulled the amp out of the sleeve for the first time (probably since the factory) and man was it dusty! This is way overdue. On a side note, found my build dates. Board built 4/10/02, transformers 11/05, left the fac...

Orange Cleaning Tips?
My AD30 is closing in on being two decades old and I've noticed recently a little static when turning the knobs. I'm assuming that must just be dust in the pots(?). I was thinking about taking the thing apart just to give it a good cleaning, but certainly don't want to mess anything up while I'm in ...

Re: Back after SIX YEAR hiatus!
@Les Paul Lover - Indeed, I did the full refin on it; including relic job. I used Nitro for the refin though, that poly was a MOFO to sand through. Also did a full rewire, new pickups, pickguard & shield, and sanded all the clear off the neck and oiled it. It is a screamin' Squire for sure! Here's s...

Back after SIX YEAR hiatus!
Hey Orange Gang! It certainly has been a bit since I've logged in here; 6 years or so, in fact, according to my post history! Previously I was a frequent poster but stepped away due to a career, starting a family, and life in general. About a year or so ago I quit drinking and made a promise to myse...

Re: Orville (Japanese) Les Paul Custom
Many of the 70's Japanese LP copies were/are wonderfully crafted instruments with great sound for the buck. I've own many Japanese LPs and played many others. Basically they were created when copyright laws didn't extend overseas very well and Japanese manufactures were using exact Gibson measuremen...

This is why you need a car like mine. Looks like a golf from the front and has enough room to haul the gear for the whole band.

Re: OT: Gibson 333 (Real or Fake?)
I have a 333 in brown. Great guitar!!! I love mine, and would buy another one in a heartbeat. Of course I've played mine long enough that it has a gloss finish naturally now. 800 is a way more than reasonable price for one as well.
