Not a Chelsea fan at all, but being a Liverpool fan there was no way I could root for ManU. It was a great match, though. Tense throughout. I wish, however, there were some other way to decide the matches. Once the full 90 minutes are up the teams both quit going for it, just waiting for the dreaded...

That was a truly gracious thing to do. I wish I had half your humanity.

I don't deserve any of the gear I have. A Harmony Rocket is a better guitar than my talent deserves.

Next time we're in Brazil, I'll have a better idea what to do for the street musicians we invariably meet.

Joe, That is a seriously cool bike you're on. One of the few bikes of any persuasion, IMO, that look great with a windscreen. Yeah, I give the 'down low' to every other rider I encounter. Some Harley riders will give back. Who knows? After our twins are born in June, I might (big might) take a road ...

I was going to say Roger Rabbit, too. It looks totally cool.

I want one.

That is a great job -- you've got skillz. They look the same size to me.

I could never do anything like that.

I use TADs in my Deluxe Reverb - silky smooth breakup, and maybe a little earlier than the JJs and Tung Sols. Great crunch, too, when I push them. I've got some NOS RCAs and they're real nice -- not sure how much they're going for these days. There are also some nice Mazda NOS 6v6s floating around t...

I'm there, but it is an extra-musical reason. It feels good to be content about the endless gear quest.

Having twins (due in June) puts everything into perspective.

I love them both, although I play the strat more than the lesters because the other guitarist in my band only plays the LP. I sensed a need for sonic variety and the strat fits that bill to a 'T'.

I think they're quite beautiful -- as furniture! I'd never take one out to a gig.

All good suggestions; however, my favorite 4x12 is the Marshall 1960TV. Probably a bit more than the Avatar (great cabs) and Lopoline (great price point), and a bitch to get to a gig, but a wonderful, organic and woody-sounding cab. Equipped with Celestion greenbacks.
