I'm there, but it is an extra-musical reason. It feels good to be content about the endless gear quest.

Having twins (due in June) puts everything into perspective.

I love them both, although I play the strat more than the lesters because the other guitarist in my band only plays the LP. I sensed a need for sonic variety and the strat fits that bill to a 'T'.

I think they're quite beautiful -- as furniture! I'd never take one out to a gig.

All good suggestions; however, my favorite 4x12 is the Marshall 1960TV. Probably a bit more than the Avatar (great cabs) and Lopoline (great price point), and a bitch to get to a gig, but a wonderful, organic and woody-sounding cab. Equipped with Celestion greenbacks.
