I've opened her up, but could not see any loose wire :( The soldering looked pretty tight to me. What else could this be ? the switch seemes to be OK too - forward position : no sound, middle position : same sound as the bridge position.... any thoughts on this before I take her to the guitar shop ?

OK, here's mine.
It's a MIJ '69 thinline (from the mid eighties). I've tried many other guitars but always came back to this tele.

Personally, I think we shoud ALL support the ORANGE TEAM

the best way is to remove one of the handles and push the back panel out from the inside.

I still like his live stuff better (especially with the trio), but Battle studies is a very worthy successor of Continuum. In the pop/rock studio stuff he certainly has grown.
