...ummm...in keeping with the topic of this post, personally I'd like to see these heads:
A 70-watt version of the AD140-TC.
A 40-watt Class A/B AD30/AD30-TC would be great, too.
These don't have to be Custom Shop amps, etiher.

I know it's not the "big show" of NAMM shows, but I wonder if we'll see anything new from Orange this weekend?
What would you like to see from Orange?

The Firebird is a great axe but a brand new Retro 50?! IMHO, not much of a choice there. Why? Because you can always pick up Firebirds but Retro 50s are much, much harder to come by. Cop the amp, then get the axe later.

That's not a stupid question at all. I've wondered the same thing. I don't think I've ever read anything in a mag where anyone even asked him about his Orange gear. I'd love to hear his comments on those old Orange Matamps. Funny how you rarely see the Orange halfstack in the wall of Marshalls he us...

Yes...the AD-50 & the Retro-50 are both point to point hand wired custom shop amps which were introduced last year. The AD-50 being a "modern" Orange voice & the Retro-50 being a "vintage" voice.

I wonder if Orange is backing off the U.S. market? (hmmmm........)

Don't confuse "hand wired" with "point to point wired". An amp *can* be a printed circuit board amp & be hand wired. An amp that's point to point *is* hand wired. Custom Shop Orange amps are point to point wired, which is hand wired. All others are printed circuit board. Are they hand wired printed ...
