They just say "Orange ECC83" on them. They're pretty dark-sounding. And I think they have long plates...although I don't know a lot about tubes...they definitely have longer plates than the JJ ECC83s...

I like some of their songs like The Bucket and Use Somebody, but then they have songs like Charmer that are quite bad and you wonder if it's the same band. Really good songs and really bad songs.

If it gets good reviews I'm probably going to get it...but there are reliability issues with AC15's, AC30's, etc. and who knows how reliable this amp will be and if it will even sound like an AC15 or AC30. If it turns out to be a reliable head version of an AC15, I'm definitely getting it.

Show him how to tweak it correctly. If he still puts everything on 10 after you show him, then he's just a moron.

Some people just don't know, but some people don't know and don't care. There's a big difference between the two.

Just figure out what the notes are and move up on the neck to find different chord shapes. Find where the notes are higher up on the neck and make your own chords (they're not your own chords, but you know what I mean). Use your ears to see what sounds best.

You'd all use Vintage 30's in both cabs whether open or closed back?

What speakers would you use in each cab? Would you do one closed back and one open, or 2 open, or 2 closed?

At least the new preamp tubes work. I had 2 Orange tubes and an EH tube in there before. Now I have a Tung Sol and 2 EH's. Big sound difference. Much brighter. Thinner overall but clearer on the high end. You can play more complex chords with gain and the high strings really ring out. Those Orange t...

Well...I turned it on and the one lit up power tube turned blue and there was a loud humming sound...I think I'm screwed...

Just put new ones in and one has an orange light at the top and the other one doesn't. My Rocker 30 is in standby right now. I don't want to turn it on and screw anything up. Is this ok?

For my Rocker 30. Hopefully they'll blow me away. My tubes are like 3 years old - Svetlana EL34's, 2 Orange tubes, and 1 EH tube.
